The latest issue of Japanese sneaker magazine SHOES MASTER will release at the end of September. Inside you can expect to see the usual in-depth look at many of the recent sneakers releases as well as a preview of the 2011 fall/winter collections from brands such as Nike, adidas and Reebok. French sneaker and sportswear brand Lacoste look to Japanese sneaker magazine SHOES MASTER for their participation in this year’s 12 Legends program. The collaboration-minded project revolves around various entities as they each provide their own take on various Lacoste favorites. The SHOES MASTER Esteban will release on December 12th through FLAUGE and other select retailers.

All the way back in 1933, René Lacoste created the legendary L.12.12 polo shirt. Ever since then, the popularity of the design has been clear. In celebration, Lacoste has enlisted 12 creative teams to reinvent some of their most classic sneaker designs. Working with iD Magazine, Shoes Master, Sneaker Freaker, Jazzie B, Sébastien Tellier, Stones Throw Records, Bodega, colette, D-mop, Ato Matsumoto, Christophe Lemaire & Tim Hamilton the “12 Legends” project is varied, with something in their for everyone. Appropriately, the entire range arrives at retailers on December 12, or 12/12.

One of Japan’s premier sneaker publications, Shoes Master drops its volume 12 this month. The magazine has seen itself pair with some of Japan’s most influential personalities in the past as this volume 12 issue features looks into Nike Sportswear 2009 Holiday, MADFOOT!, Puma Archive 2009 Fall/Winter and an interview with Hiroshi Fujiwara on his recently released Personal Effects book.
