In conjunction with the launch of its “Project Ocean” campaign, Selfridges has commissioned this collection of special edition T-shirts from designer Katharine Hamnett. During the 1980s, Hamnett’s oversized T-shirts using large, block-letter slogans became a huge hit on the streets and were adopted by several major pop bands of the time, including Wham! To help raise the world’s awareness of the plight of the oceans and highlight the potential consequences of continued over-fishing, the “Project Ocean” shirts designed by Hamnett feature slogans like “STOP AND THINK,” “NO MORE FISH IN THE SEA?” and “SAVE THE WORLD.” Priced at £40 (approximately $65 USD), the T-shirts are available for men, women and children exclusively through Selfridges.

Throughout the last few months, we’ve seen British retailer Selfridges celebrate a monumental anniversary through a series of different collaboration products. From Blackberrys to denim, Coca-Cola and guitars among other items, another special project revolves around their iconic yellow Selfridges Pantone 109C and Hublot. The sleek Hublot Big Bang Chronograph features slight touches of the yellow marking the hands and the number markers. Only 10 pieces were created and should move rather quickly.

Offering a plethora of various collaborative product already, this latest project finds the retailer paired alongside BlackBerry. Utilizing the Bold model in a Pantone Yellow 109 leather-bound colorway, this extremely limited edition phone features a production run of only 10 units, in the stores signature color choice. With a retail price of roughly $1,500 USD, the phones are now available through the Selfridges London location.

In celebration of their 100th Anniversary, Coca-Cola presents a Centenary version of their timeless bottle design, specially made for the London department store, Selfridges. The limited edition bottle sports a vibrant yellow hue, accented with red Coca-Cola script and matching bottle cap. They are now available in the “Wonder Room” until the end of May 2009 at Selfridges London.
