Japanese bag manufacturers SAGLiFE introduce a new collection of street favorite packs and bags with their “Italy Camo” collection. FUTURA LABORATORIES and SAG LiFE come together once again in a new collection of bags for this season. Aesthetically, the bags are relatively simple on the exterior with dark colors and signature icons from Futura. The interior is a bit more lively with some full-on patterns which embody Futura’s all too familiar work. The collection encompasses a backpack, messenger bag and mobile case, all of which are available through select retailers.

Known for their messenger bags, SAG has slowly gone on to expand their horizons. The Reaper Pack is a more subtle design relative to some previous styles including the Air Force 1 style. Made of 550D Cordura, it features several pocket arrangements with 3-way access to the main panel. Available now at HAVEN with a retail price $240 CAD (approximately $244 USD).

Storied San Francisco brand FTC links up with Japanese accessories company SAG on yet another collaborative project, this time developing a 3-Layer Mountain Jacket, which is quite perfect for these cold months. The piece comes in both a black colorway and a more colorful teal option. As expected, the piece takes on more of a technical approach with waterproof zippers, M-65 style pockets and subtle branding. Both are now available at STLESS.

Benny Gold and Japanese bagmakers SAG team-up in the release of an upcoming bag. A reinterpretation of SAG’s popular Air Force 1 model, the Benny Gold remake features a smaller size and profile. Many of the original features are preserved much like the original. However a new design element includes a removable front flap for holding a skateboard, inspired by Shortys’ popular 90s offering. The bag will release on Wednesday, September 22nd exclusively through the Benny Gold retail store and online shop.

Originally previewed towards the latter part of last year, Futura Laboratories finally releases its collaboration messenger alongside premier Japanese bag specialists SAG. Simple with minimal branding, the bag pairs SAG’s superb construction and bag aesthetics with Futura’s iconic artwork, showcased throughout. Available now via the FL Shop.

Premier Japanese bag specialists SAG introduce a new lineup of New Era fitteds to add to their extensive bag offerings. The caps feature a simple logo design with traditional raised frontal embroidery and brand hit on the back. Three different colorways are now available via STLESS.

Continuing his partnership with premier bagmakers SAG, Japanese painter and graphic artist Que Houxo offers yet another well-executed collection of bags for the Fall/Winter 2009 campaign. Four different pieces will be included in the capsule lineup, which features a mostly black silhouette with 3M paint splatter detailing and removable velcro patch feature. A release can be expected next month, September 2009.

Known for their thoughtful and technical bag offerings, SAG continue its impressive run of releases with a new piece alongside graffiti legend Futura’s Futura Laboratories label. The bag boasts a black/white color scheme with various Futura signature hits and red highlighted artwork on a removable interior sleeve. A release can be expected later this year in November.
