The aesthetics portrayed by Rockers NYC may not be everybody's cup of tee, but their strict adherence to their own values and inspirations is definitely something to take note of. The second delivery of their 2008 spring/summer The Sound and Fury collection is hitting stores worldwide now and features some visually stimulating cut&sew t-shirts and accessories including banner scarves and fanny packs.

Rockers NYC has consistently presented itself as one of the most conceptually rich and aesthetically bold brands out there. Their visions along with love of music have found common ground with Japanese brand swagger as the two recently set out to create a run of t-shirts seen here. One of the most well received and well documented video games in the last few years, Grand Theft Auto IV has been perceived as one of the most detailed creations of its kind incorporating numerous features to create an extremely realistic gameplay. Rockers NYC had the opportunity to outfit Jamaican gangsters Little Jacob and Real Badman in vintage Rockers gear. As the game is quickly played and details uncovered, I wouldn't be surprised to see more cameos from various brands.

The first installment of RockersNYC TV for the Sound & Fury collection involves legendary bassist of hardcore punk band Black Flag. To launch their 2008 Spring/Summer collection, RockersNYC has hit up some of their closest friends to model off their t-shirt styles for this season. The Sound & Fury collection much like releases of the past incorporate a certain visual aesthetic and music inspirations that has become ingrained in Rockers' design ethos. New York City label Rockers NYC are preparing to unleash The Sound & Fury of their 2008 Spring/Summer Collection. The latest cut and sew lineup includes a number of unique takes on classic items such as the Mutant Rock Polo, Evoleyes Reversible Vest, and Dapper Dan Tuxedo Shorts. All products are produced in Japan and will be available at Rockers NYC stockists worldwide in April.

The 2007 Fall/Winter "Dopethrone" Collection is themed after the "clashing of the 7s". For it was in 1977, the eye of the youth rebellion hurricane began. In Jamaica, the heart of the Rasta movement was starting and likewise in the United Kingdom with the proliferation of Punk. Don Letts and Bob Marley who brought together the likes of Punk & Reggae together. The Dopethrone features a combination of musical culture influences in Reggae, Punk Rock, Speed Metal, Hip Hop & Rasta. It is these very cultures which inspire Rockers NYC on the heels of their rebellious nature and intelligent discourse.
The following collection showcases a variety of tees such as Blasted, Protest & Survive, Annihilation, Dreamtime, Survival and Bombs Above. These shirts should currently be available at your local Rockers dealer and soon online via the Rockers Store.
