Funkmaster Flex had the premiering honors of Meek Mill’s star-studded remix of his smash hit “I’m a Boss.” T.I., Lil Wayne, Birdman, Swizz Beatz and DJ Khaled all turn in their respective contributions to the tune, but it is post-seizure Rick Ross who draws the attention with the following line:

Had a couple seizures, call em minor setbacks/ Everybody praying for me, I respect that

Unveiled is the official music video for Kanye West’s “Monster,” featured on the musician’s highly praised My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The cut features appearances from Rick Ross, Jay-Z & Nicki Minaj in what will surely be a controversial whirlwind considering the steady amount of corpses, decapitation, sex and just about everything else you can imagine in a horror flick. The video does begin with a disclaimer though. What are your thoughts?

While everybody assumed that the previously unveiled video for Lil Wayne’s “If I Die Tonight (John)” was the real deal, Weezy proves them wrong by dropping the official Collin Tiller-directed cut. The earlier one is said to have an alternate, unfinished edit. In related news, you can catch Wayne on the MTV2 Presents: Lil Wayne Unplugged series which premieres on all MTV networks Sunday, June 12 at 9 p.m.

After hinting at the song for the past few weeks, DJ Khaled unleashes the second single off his We the Best Forever which offers lyrical contribution by Lil Wayne, Drake and Rick Ross. Entitled “I’m On One,” the gentlemen point out that they are pretty much in tune with their ways. Getting a few things off his chest, a more experienced Drizzy is the definite standout on this one. Following the release of the cover art for Tha Carter IV, the album’s next single has now received its official video treatment. Presented by The DOTR, Weezy brings forth the visual for his Rick Ross-assisted single “If I Die Tonight (John).” Both rappers merge their powers which seem to flip the world upside down, literally. Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV is slated for a release in June.

Be quick on this one because it might not stick around for much longer. Above is a leaked video, thought to be an unfinished version of Kanye West’s “Monster” music video. As to be expected, the quality of the leak leaves something to be desired but is more than made up for given the lineup of stars who appear. From Nicki Minaj to Jay-Z, Kanye has managed to pull each of the artists to appear in this lavish video treated with special effects and complex sets.

It looks like Kanye West continues to impress both musically and visually as the teaser for the video of the star-studded “Monster” track emerges. The plot is not fully revealed yet but it seems that the clip maintains the same visual theme as his short movie project “Runaway.” Stay tuned for the full version real soon.

Nike recently launched a new series of commercials with the theme of “Boom”. Some big-time cameo appearances include Rick Ross, Bo Jackson, Nndamukong Suh, Tim Tebow and Robinson Cano who each celebrate that magical moment in sports. Whether it be sticking that landing, that huge open field hit or that knockout punch, each illicit the notion of “Boom”.

Here’s a new development after formally announcing his plans on releasing a five-track album with Jay-Z titled, Watch The Throne. No official word if this will land on that project, but it is the 1st release under Kanye’s new “G.O.O.D Music Fridays,” in which he promised to release a song every Friday until Christmas. Check out Mr. West’s new record, “Monster” which also features a star-studded lineup of Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and Bon Iver.
