ReasonNYC in a team-up with Estate LA serve up a new fitted with their NY Kings release. Flipping the logo of the Los Angeles Kings, NY Kings makes its way into the design over two different colorways. The hat will be released on Saturday, January 17th at the Cooper Square Outpost with a retail price of $36 USD.

New York City-based label Reason Clothing has opened their doors to Manhattan’s East Village. The shop, located at 206 East 6th Street, is situated in a historic Cooper Square storefront, featuring the brand’s private label collection as well as an exclusive in house line of t-shirts, hats, and woven apparel. Being the first retail endeavor for owners Philip Bassis and Jonathan Price Totaro, the opening is a true labour of love coming into fruition. Be sure to stop by if you’re in town.

Cut & Sew specialists Alex and Gian of HomeRoom have opened up shop in Los Angeles with a pop-up store alongside Reason NYC. Set up on Sunset Blvd, the shop will showcase their San Francisco influenced designs to Southern Cali for 2 months, open until January 15th, 2009. Not only will the 2008 fall/winter collections from both companies be available but HomeRoom brings forth some of their jewelry pieces as well. If your in town, be sure to check them out!

Reason’s 2008 fall “Wonderland” collection was recently unveiled. The brand’s direction has taken a more mature and intelligent route as Reason strives to balance its roots with fun colors and innovative details. The collection includes cut&sew tees, rip-stop bamboo jackets, waterproof button-up shirts, denim and a bold snakeskin satin New Era. Available now at ReasonClothing.com.

In a late summer release, Reason has unveiled a handful of classics alongside some New York-themed tees. Classics include “Guantanamo Bay Beach Club”, “ANOTHER FU*&!NG TSHIRT” and the always popular “Go Love Your Own City”. The small collection is available now at ReasonBrand.com.

For Reason’s 2008 Spring Collection, they got together with New Era and designed this Monster Plaid 5950 fitted cap. The cap consists of many different patterns with checkers, polka dots, and large plaid print. It will come in both earth tone and slate colorways, and is available today at Reason retailers worldwide.

In a union of West Coast and East Coast, Los Angeles’ Diamond Supply Co. and New York’s Reason have collaborated on a t-shirt for the upcoming Creme de la Creme party on May 15th. The t-shirt print features a vintage styled movie poster including two monsters battling it out for supremacy. The event flyer can be seen after the jump.

At the bottom of every Reason design is a decidedly fun and playful approach to their themes. Although not entirely visible throughout these pieces, Reason has definitely exemplified a playful nature which will undoubtedly seen throughout other pieces from this season’s collection. Reason recently dropped some previews this week with their New Era 59Fifty fitted caps. Three hats were released including designs inspired by a python snake which features glow in the dark eyes as well as and a back embroidered logo; a leather cap featuring black leather with silver embroidered writing across the side; and a script style hat, with Reason 3D wrapping around the length of the hat. The hats will release this Spring.
