Oliver Zahm directs and stars in this short film for Louis Vuitton – an artsy spoof-like short depicting a day in his life as editor at fashion magazine Purple during the glam of Paris Fashion Week. Featuring the Louis Vuitton runway and Marc Jacobs / Louis Vuitton exhibition, a pretty girl, the bad boy, Marc Jacobs and a train driver, this quirky Godard-inspired clip has offers a lighter side to the world of fashion.

Olivier Zahm along with BLK DNM recently hosted an exclusive soiree including a dinner event at Mark Hotel, which was then followed by an after party at the top of Standard Hotel. The night’s events were part to launch Purple Magazine’s latest issue. Providing everyone with a video recap was French photographer Ludovic Zuili which took place during New York Fashion Week.

Influential French publication purple FASHION has just finished the highly awaited (and much needed) redesign of its website. No longer relying on a simplistic blog format, the new site offers links to several different pages including editor Oliver Zahm’s popular purple DIARY. There are also plans for expansion to the site including upcoming collaborations and a new purple TELEVISION series set to launch in September, with channels ranging from sex to shopping. As a special summer gift, purple is currently allowing users to read Issue 15 of the magazine for free online.

Parisian artist Andre and fellow French label Kitsune join forces to create a limited edition graphic t-shirt for Purple Magazine, the widely regarded publication from Olivier Zahm. From the looks of it, two colorways will be offered, with a portrait type design taking center stage. Shown above is the tee being worn by Olivier Zahm, Andre Saraiva, and Gildas Loaec. For the upcoming issue of Purple Magazine, the publication held an interesting photo shoot featuring some of the industries most acclaimed personalities. Included were French model Baptiste Gianiconi, Art Director Eric Pfrunder and iconic fashion designer/photographer Karl Lagerfeld. The shoot also featured an appearance by famed contemporary artist Jeff Koons and his inflatable works of art with Editor Olivier Zahm snapping the priceless shot.
