The proliferation of vintage treatments to sneakers and its trickle down effect sees the venerable Puma Clyde undergo a faded and weathered look. In all honesty, with suede and its impossible upkeep, this gimmick is all but unnecessary as the first freak rain storm or spilling of beer on your suede Clydes/Suedes will leave the same effect seen here. However, classic colorways seen here definitely shouldn't be overlooked. Look for a worldwide roll out soon.

1987 marked the debut of not only one of the most iconic skate graphics of all time, the "Screaming Hand" but also the release of Puma's popular First Round Hi. As an homage to the most credible skate brands around, Puma will release a Screaming Hand influenced First Round Hi sneaker, including a matching t-shirt. The First Round features many design influences linked to the Jim Phillips designed Screaming Hand. Four different laces will be included upon the release, which has yet to be announced.

The latest bold concept to come out of the Puma creative lab is this upcoming Puma Suede 4th of July Firecracker Pack. Created with a strong likeness to your typical 4 of July activities, the monotone uppers feature a detailed tongue label complete with mock fuse and an image on the heel. If you aren't down for the shenanigans of a concept like this, at the root of each pair is still a versatile pair of sneakers. No word on a release date, but typical of holiday-related releases, except these to drop in June.
