A range of new works from famed Brazilian art duo Os Gemeos are currently being displayed at the Prism Gallery in Los Angeles. Dubbed “Miss You,” the show marks their first solo exhibition at the venue, which had its opening this past weekend. The duo transformed the two-story gallery completely with a number of installations, signature bold paintings, and murals that covered the entire ceiling and floors. Be sure to check out the exhibition as it is scheduled to run until March 24, 2011.

After an eventful summer, the ever-elusive Pandolfo twins have returned to their native Brazil for their exhibition at Museu Vale in Argolas. “Fermata” will mark the first large-scale exhibition of new Os Gemeos paintings (8 in total) since “Nos Braços de um Anjo” in Milan almost two years ago. Along with the paintings, there will also be a giant interactive music-box sculpture as well as sprawling on-site mural installations designed specifically around the architecture of the museum. “Fermata” runs from October 28 to February 12, 2012.

The Os Gemeos “balloon head” installation was created exclusively for the 2011 edition of the Back2Black Festival in Rio de Janeiro promoting global appreciation for African culture in Brazil. From August 26-28, the centenarian Estação Leopoldina (Leopoldina Station) will again serve as a platform for concerts, debates, exhibitions and artistic interventions, divided into four different spaces, with more than 20 musical act this year. The installation includes dozens of large balloons in yellow and orange and will feature cartoon men and women’s faces above the festival goers.

Amongst all exhibitions and highlights taking place at the recently commenced MOCA “Art in the Streets,” pioneering hip-hop photographer Martha Cooper shares with us some work by Os Gemeos. Paying homage to New York’s past, the brothers created a subway car replica which was subsequently used as a platform for the likes of REAS, Lee Quinones and BLADE to make their signature mark.

The most famous twins in the art world, Brazil’s Os Gêmeos did not disappoint with their submission as part of MOCA’s “Art in the Streets” exhibition which opened its doors to the public this past Sunday. The work of the two has always incorporated a captivating palette of colors together with multi-medium works. Three-dimensional installations offered a memorable body of work alongside the likes of customized drum sets.

Paint brand Montana Colors bursted onto the scene in 1994 as a line of spray paint catering exclusively to the artists. Since then, the brand has done an admirable job of supporting both the street art and graffiti scene with notable involvement through an ongoing series of events. At the Montana Colors gallery outside of Barcelona, the walls feature some popular pieces from the likes of Os Gemeos on one side while artists Dran Born.K and Sowat are seen on an adjacent building.

The Brazilian art duo Os Gemeos collaborate with The Moulin project and Slava’s SnowShow as part of the Dépayz’arts exhibition which opened on December 27th. The work done by Os Gemeos represents Slava’s head and is reproduced on a trailer. Dépayz’arts concludes on December 31st with Slava’s SnowShow representing just one of several different spectacles.

Miami’s Basel Art Week continues to impress as West Hollywood Based art consortium New Image Art present what is surely one of the more anticipated offerings at this year’s show. Featuring an artistic milieu of some of the more renowned names New Image Art’s line up will include the works of Os Gemeos, Judith Supine, Cleon Peterson, Skullphone, Albert Reyes and a special piece entitled “Now I Remember” by famed surrealist artist Neck Face. Truly setting itself aside as one of the more sought after showings at the exhibition.

The London MONIKER International Art Fair took place earlier this month. Taking place at the VILLAGE UNDERGROUND space, the event looked to cultivate and promote a more niche series of personalities and art. Both paintings and installations were on hand from some familiar names such as Steve Powers, Polly Morgan, Swoon, Ben Eine, Herakut, KAWS, Futura, Os Gemeos and Banksy.
