OriginalFake is a brand that truly devotes itself to every little detail, as shown here by their Winter exhibition invite. Beinghunted shows us his invitation, which is a printed one dollar bill with design hand-drawn by Kaws. The design portrays Kaws Companion falling into the hole of the portrait while trying hard to grab on. It is speculated that the dollar bill design might be a hint of what's to come for OriginalFake's 08 F/W collection. You can definitely see how strong the brand is even just through their invitation. The latest designs from Original Fake have been released. Taking the form of the Target and Two Fingers t-shirts, the graphics combine some of your favorite Kaws created elements including the Companion. Available now at "Sold Out" as well as other select Original Fake dealers.

Original Fake by the artists KAWS has released two new t-shirts from the Spring '08 collection which are based on two of his more popular figures, the Companion and the Chum. According to Firmament, "the Kaws´ Companion figure was first shown in New York at the New Gallery in Soho and at his first exhibition in Tokyo - Kawsone - at Parco." while the Chum remains one of KAWS' most sought after toy. So for those who missed out on the figures, you can now get the tees at Firmament.

The Original Fake website has been updated with a new graphic of the KAWS Companion in the missionary position with the Grim Weeper. This artwork by the artist KAWS most likely has the hidden meaning "Fuck Death". This interesting graphic will be used on an upcoming t-shirt from KAWS' brand, Original Fake. Look for this tee to drop at Original Fake in Japan or at Original Fake dealers.

Original Fake's upcoming t-shirt features a spoof magazine ad of the iconic Companion being carted off in a kidnapping. Ignorance has got the best of us as we really don't know exactly which event this references throughout some of Honduras' times of political unrest. Look for the Honduras t-shirt to release later this month.

New for March, OriginalFake has dropped their latest technical Gore-Tex Paclite jacket. Available in both black and blue, the lightweight jacket includes subtle OF imagery along the zipper, hood and cuffs as well as a hood pull. While a standard Gore-Tex Paclite from a reputable mountaineering company should run you under three bills, the ￥49,800 (approximately $479 USD) price will give you the OF branding. Original Fake (the artist KAWS' brand if you didn't know already) has revealed a new graphic of what we assume to be a new t-shirt design. We're really not sure what the graphic of this tee represents but we're guessing its tic tac toe with eyeballs. We're also guessing this t-shirt will be available at the Original Fake store very soon. There will be some really nice items from Original Fake this Spring so stay tuned for more info.

Original Fake started a few years ago when artist KAWS teamed up with Medicom Toy to create a brand and flagship store. The designs of the clothes are largely based on KAWS' popular artwork like these two new t-shirts that have just been released at Original Fake retailers around the world. OriginalFake's latest design has been revealed. The design features the hand of the Kaws Companion holding a rotten worm filled apple. Watch for the t-shirt to release in the very near future.

In less then a week, those unfortunate enough to be tied up to the ol' ball and chain are going to have to shell out their hard earned dough to satisfy their companions (lame pun) on Valentines Day.
