Opening Ceremony unveils a series of visuals presenting their most recent collection with American actress and “it girl” Chloë Sevigny. A followup to their prior projects, this new capsule collection is actualized with part unisex arrangement of clothing, leading to a chic streetwear theme. Standout pieces from the range are the ones that are heavily detailed by some animal prints and word graphics, which include various tops and cropped shorts. The capsule line is now available at Opening Ceremony.

Pendleton retains its ties with Opening Ceremony to release a capsule range of warm garments this season. Keeping a hold of Pendleton’s outstanding design aesthetic, the range is distinctive on account of the Navajo kaleidoscopic prints and plaid patterns applied throughout. Comprised of various outerwear and functional pieces including pea coat, biker-inspired jacket, cardigan and buttoned shirt, the Pendleton Meets Opening Ceremony 2011 Fall/Winter Collection is now available at select retailers, including I.T Hysan.

Congruent with their recent Dark Side Rotten 11 Dalmatian Leopard collaboration, New York-based retailer Opening Ceremony and Italian footwear brand Forfex introduce the Dalmatian Sneaker. The shoe’s upper is covered in a faux-dalmatian pelage and is mocked up in an expected white and black colorway. A low-profile rubber outsole culminates at the shoe’s anterior with a thin white-capped toe box. The silhouette finishes off its svelte, contemporary appeal with tonal white tube laces. Available exclusively through Opening Ceremony, the Forfex Dalmation Sneaker retails for $225 USD.

The close relationship between famed designer Terence Koh and Opening Ceremony evolves into the pair’s latest project, a three-way collaboration resulting in this Forfex Furry Moon Boot. The shoe is draped in layers of snow-white faux fur supported by a white crater outsole. The boot’s unorthodox and contemporary style incorporates a primitive modus with the use of white laces that wrap around the foot akin to moccasin bindings. Now available for $250 USD through Opening Ceremony.

Gia Coppola takes the lead role in photography for Opening Ceremony’s latest visuals this season. Featuring identical twins/male models Jake and Joe Dupont, Opening Ceremony has allowed Coppola to rework the set with foliage decors and keep up the abode ambiance with zen elements. Moreover, the photographer took advantage on the natural lighting as the lookbook impressively captures the rich and textured collection. Composed of full and detailed shots, the lookbook elaborately showcased Opening Ceremony’s thick and heavy offering which includes patterned knits, wool jackets and sturdy coats.

Opening Ceremony have joined forces with the Muppets to create this collection of 100% cotton hoodies and knitted sweaters.  Each piece features an image of either Miss Piggy, Kermit, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo or Animal on the front, embroidered onto the sweaters or printed on the hoodies.  Available now from Opening Ceremony, the knitted sweaters retail for $230 USD each whilst the hoodies costs $65 USD a piece.

Swedish sock designers Happy Socks recently invited Opening Ceremony to appropriate four Americana-inspired styles based on their premium combed cotton socks.  With choices that give nod to retro suburban prints and patterns, the capsule materialized using various paisley, herringbone, striped and polka-dotted fabric swatches.  Four styles are now available with limited edition packaging through Happy Socks.

From Manhattan to Milan and Atlanta to Australia, Fashion Night Out has become one of the most talked about after-hours shopping events as of late. For this year’s occasion, Opening Ceremony, New York’s avant-garde boutique, has teamed up with Keds to revive the leather Pennant Oxford. Resurrected from Keds’ early 1990s archive, the baseball-inspired interpretations, coined the “Keds Champion Series,” is offered in three colorways that draw materials and stitch work from nostalgic baseball components. All three colorways will be available directly from Opening Ceremony on the night of the event where attendees can step right up and take a swing at the boutique’s baseball-themed stall. Retail is set at $125 USD.

Each year, American retailer Opening Ceremony has adopted a particular country to feature the creative efforts and talents from across the world. Past countries have included Hong Kong, Brazil, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Japan. For 2012, Opening Ceremony welcomes with open arms Argentina.
