Local Hong Kong brand Fingercroxx recently teamed up with Obey on a special collection of products. Among the promotional products created were beach mats featuring a huge print of the Obey Giant logo. Suitable for use at the beach or the park, the large sized mat also features a blow-up pillow at the head.

Since the inception of the brand Obey by artist Shepard Fairey, he has built an incredible art-based empire with his ongoing propaganda movement. However, underneath all of his artwork is a glimmer story told by artist Mark Vallen. In a recent critique of Shepard Fairey, he blasts the Obey movement as nothing more then a plagiaristic endeavor which severely undermines the original intents and messages his art is derived from. Vallen offers numerous side by side examples of how many of Obey's designs are lifted from previous political campaigns without mention of origin and source. Fuji x Obey Fixed Gear Bike

Fuji began operations at the end of the 1800s and would go on to establish the "Tour of Japan" as well as be in attendance for the inaugural Keirin (sprint races) in 1948. Together Fuji and Obey teamed up to produce a fixed gear bike which takes the best of both worlds. The old school aesthetics of a 100 year company with specialized parts creates a modern classic.
