Dunk Wars was a site conceived by Nike as it looked to pit highly sought after sneakers against one another. Battle 3 sees two graffiti inspired Dunks do battle including Futura's Hyperstrike F2T.50 vs. Haze's Dunk. To make things more personable, two people stand in each corner, Ryan Santos reppin' the F2T.50 and Toddy Flores with Haze. The battle including videos and voting process can be seen over at Dunk Wars.
Nike pays homage to Syracuse University with what we assume is a special NikeID version released exclusively to select members on campus. The blue/orange upper consists of a patent leather and ballistic nylon upper with Orangemen emblazoned on the rear in a Terminator-esque style. No information is known regarding whether this will hit official retailers or not.

St. Pauli's free-thinking movement which originated in the 1980s created a special sort of kult club for the Hamburg based football team. Despite a yo-yo history between the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga, it was club policies such as the banning of right-wing nationalist displays at their home games which would cement St. Pauli in the football world as a club devoted to more then just the sport itself. To commemorate the efforts of the club, Nike has created a special two pair pack which will release in mid May.The Dunk Low will be exclusive to Germany, Austria and Switzerland while the Dunk High will see a bit wider release across Europe.

It was inevitable a return to its roots for the Nike Dunk as the last few years have yielded a brash array of mutli-color releases. Although we're sure colorful colorways are still on their way, the Dunk has seen a much more balanced palette as of late. Here's a look at some recent Dunk Highs with distressed leather and ostrich highlights. Check your local Nike dealer for availability.

It looks like the Nike ACG department had something cool under their sleeves. They have been recently working on really interesting and functional concept - the Convertible Considered Dunk. This Dunk features a heel flap which can be flipped down making it easy for the wearer to put on or take off. We would imagine that they would be useful for frequent flyers who could easily slip them off during security checks or on the plane. Unfortunately, Nike decided to drop this idea so you probably won't be seeing this in stores anytime soon.
