A favorite among many, Nike Sportswear has just unveiled their new Air Maxim 1+ releases for Summer 2011. With its state of the art flywire technology for added support and lightweight materials for comfort and breathability, the sneaker comes in blue and chocolate colorways with tonal details and laces. The kicks are currently available for purchase through Nike Sportswear accounts around the globe.

First launched in 2009, the Nike Air Maxim 1+ ND is back again. Appearing in a stealthy all- black colorway, the shoe itself is a hybrid between the iconic Air max 1 and the Air Trainer 1, taking the most prominent and celebrated features of each: the AM1 sole and air unit and the AT1 strap. Along with the Nike+ technology, the shoe is complete with suede panels and a Flywire mid-panel. The all-black Nike Air Maxim 1+ ND is now available over at Soleheaven.

A collection of Air Maxes release as part of the latest Nike Sportswear Athletic West collection. Both the Air Max 1 and Air Maxim 1 feature a dark navy blue upper with red contrast used sparingly throughout both styles. Available now at Proper.

Nike Sportswear previews its upcoming Athletic West Pack for the 2010 Fall season. Featured are new colorways in the brand’s Air Max 1 and revamped Air Maxim 1. Both take on vibrant accents amongst classic color schemes. Look for these to drop come Fall via select Nike Sportswear retail accounts.

Nike’s forthcoming Air Attack Collection consists thus far of 6 air cushioning models including the Air Max 1, Air Maxim 1, Air Max 95, Air Max 2009+, Air Max 24-7 and Air Max Tailwind 2010+. The limited edition selection is set to boasts Nikes Air-unit technology and features bright and bold block-colourways. The entire collection is scheduled to drop at both the Nike store Hong Kong and select retailers on April 23.

Marcus Troy gives us a peek into an upcoming colorway in Nike’s Air Maxim 1. Featuring a tonal hot pink scheme, the kicks incorporate plenty of Nike’s signature technologies, including the popular Flywire, while reducing the sneaker’s original weight by about 2/3rds. A release for these kicks is slated later this month and is a part of the “Air Attack” Pack.

Previewed are two new designs from the Nike Sportswear footwear collection for Spring 2010. A sneaker which has garnered wide acclaim, the Air Maxim 1 receives further advanced treatment with the addition of Nike’s newly developed Torch technology. Both pairs feature white, black, and orange colorways which work quite well within the new platforms.

Prima facie, these appear to be the an instant revival for the recently ended Livestrong x Nike series, however this is not so, you’re actually looking at the Nike Air Maxim ‘Torch’. The Torch has been floating around the net since back in August, here we can finally see exactly what the shoe will look like. As a Maxim model, the shoes feature fly-wire side panelling and a slightly altered shape, particularly in the toe region to that of the Max 1. What’s distinct about this model, apart from it’s yellow swoosh and tongue (which gives the shoe its nickname), is the mesh on the toebox – under the surface lies a secondary grid, presumably making this model more durable than other Maxims. The Torch is currently scheduled to release in Spring 2010.

Amongst the many highlights from Nike Sportswear’s upcoming designs for Spring 2010 is this Air Maxim 1 Touch, a play off the classic Air Max 1 with upgraded materials and technological advancements. Aside from the Flywire upper, the shoes feature an added breathable mesh upper and heel panels and seamless stitching, which, quite arguably, results as a more sophisticated and cleaner rendition of the original AM1.

Coming onto the scene awhile ago as a contemporary release of the once innovative and ground-breaking Nike Air Max 1, the Air Maxim 1+ and its high-tech upper gets another revamping. This time around, it blends the properties of Nike’s Air Trainer series. The forefoot strap on a running shoe seems to be mostly cosmetic while the shoe retains a classic chlorophyll colorway.
