Nike Air Jordan Fusion V Grey Nurse

Posted by: Staff / May 3, 2008 / Also tagged as: , , , / Comments: 1

Legendary Nike designer, Tinker Hatfield, responsible for the majority of Michael Jordan's most popular signature sneakers has succeeded throughout the years not only based on immense talent but an extraordinary imagination as well. The original Jordan V design was inspired by the P-51 Mustang, a WWII fighter plane used by the Tuskegee Airmen combined with a rendering of a Grey Nurse Shark on the midsole. Keeping this theme alive, strong military colors are featured included with the addition of shark eyes and the initials MJJ on the side standing for Michael Jeffrey Jordan. Surely to be a collectors item in the future, these are now available at Jordan Flight Club with a price of $175.

Here we go, the next fusions to make you drool or spit. This time it's an all American colorway of red white and blue in time for the Olympics. These mids far surpass the black Air Jordan V x Air Force 1 Lows we've seen on other sites (which look 100% fake). These actually look decent, but hopefully they wont release 10 more colorways, keeping it somewhat subtle. Source: Nice Kicks

The Air Force 1 Fusion integrating the classic Uptown and the Air Jordan has started hitting shelves with a constant stream of upcoming releases. Here's a look at a projected Black/Bright Cactus colorway. The Bright Cactus can be seen throughout with an embroidered 23, colored mesh and strap. No word yet on availability. Source: Air Randy

Air Jordan VI Carmine

As part of an upcoming Air Jordan Countdown Pack (two-shoe packs which total 23), the Air Jordan VI Carmine has been revealed as the colorway of choice to go alongside the Air Jordan XVII. The Carmine has long been a holy grail and unattainable sneaker for many due to its only release occurring back in 1991 resulting in expensive mostly unwearable pairs for those lucky enough to have a deadstock pair. With next year seeing a shift away from retro Jordans, the retro fix will be available only through Countdown Packs and Air Jordan x Air Force 1 Fusion releases. Among the Fusion releases are these black-fire red release which perhaps best embodies the Air Jordan V it represents. The black nubuck upper includes an ice blue sole and red midsole with 23 embroidered on the heel. Info/Image: Kenlu via Sneaker News

Air Jordan 5 x Air Force 1 Fusion

With a new Air Jordan Fusions concept on the horizon, this new hybrid series has drawn some mixed reviews as of late. Despite the fact many of these renditions may possess some decent ideas and executions, for some it's the fact that the holy Air Jordan has been reinterpreted which may cause some confusion and disdain. This latest Fusion includes the classic Air Jordan V White/Fire Red colorway which incorporates some highlighting characteristics such as clear mesh, 3M tongue, lace toggles and clear sole. Look for a Spring 2008 release for these Fusions. Image: BKRW
