Earlier this year saw a collaboration between Hectic x Stussy in the creation of a New Balance CM670 pack. Two new styles are set to hit later this month featuring a muted gray suede and aqua/purple highlights. The CM670 has been a most recent medium chosen by traditional collaboration partners Hectic and Stussy and could yield more of the same variety to compliment their current line of MT580s. In what we consider a collaboration staying true to the essence of the task at hand, New Balance's 20th anniversary of their 576 running shoe is met with high end Japanese brand Tsumori Chisato. The collaboration creates a convergence point for two differing styles of fashion, New Balance on one hand have ingrained themselves in the ground work of sneaker culture and running elitists while TC's high end roots incorporate visually stunning prints and designs fit for the runway. Two womens 576 models are featured in this small collection, each depicting an oceanic scene. Available soon at select IT dealers in Hong Kong.

Provider, one of the premier Australian streetwear store, teamed up with New Balance to release their 1500 Provider trainers on May 3rd only in Europe. The shoes come in a bright blue color in the front and dark grey and black in the back. Also, the white accent detail on the front of the shoes are mirror images of each other rather than the usual duplicate. This will be an in-store only release at Solebox.

This Saturday will be the release of the Stussy x Hectic x UNDFTD x New Balance "Triple Threat" MT580 Synthetic Pack. Three colorful MT580's will be released each representing a collaboration with either Stussy, Hectic or UNDFTD. These clunky sneakers won't match with your jeans but they will be perfect for the summer when you have your shorts on. Available at Undefeated Japan on April 26th.

Originally seen back in February was an upcoming collaborative effort between Singaporean sneaker store Leftfoot, New Balance and famous sneaker customizers SBTG and Methamphibian. The duo set forth with the theme of "Heaven and Hell", an evolution of their initial plan of basing it on East (SBTG) meets West (Methamphibian). The two colors on the surface are distinguished by black and white, however upon further inspection, details come to life in a series of intricate highlights and exploration that pushes the realm of sneaker design. A special slide box is included which features a tiger camo print which enables you to place the slide-out portion and the box together to create a full out art piece. The sneakers will be available April 18th at Leftfoot Singapore.

New Balance has been worn by sneaker collectors far before footwear companies starting aiming their prodcuts at the heads. New balance eventually joined the limited edition game as well with the world reknowned realmadHECTIC releases as well as many others. Now, they are aiming agressively at this target market with a NB576 dubbed the "A10" from their new limited edition "A22" catergory. This shoe is a fusion between their most popular model and a pro-golf shirt. At first look the upper looks like it is made of canvas but it is actually made from the same material as golf shirts. There is even a small button attached to the shoe to emphasize this look. The usual "N" logo is replaced with a Germanic font "N" and the other side has a "10" on it. Source: Mita Sneakers

Mita Sneakers have been collaborating with realmadHECTIC since 1999 to bring us the classic 90's sneaker New Balance MT580; fast forward to 2008 and they are about to release their 11th series. In the spirit of this, the new additions to this series will be 2 new fusion colorways, fusing together past releases. The MTH comes in an earthy tone colorway, which a fusion of the 2nd Editions released in 2001. The GBH sports a pastel themed colorway, a fusion of the 3rd Editions which also released in 2001. These will definitely be popular amongst the fans of the collection. Be sure to check them out when they are available on May 3rd.

Emerging from the shadows of New Balance's 20th Anniversary model the 576 comes the New Balance 410. The synthetic and suede upper of this sleek sneaker includes a mesh toebox for breathability and comfort. Currently available in two colorways at Overkill.

Despite the the trail running nature of the M575 from New Balance, the Japanese designed silhouette manages to keep things in relatively slim profile and flattering shape. Three colors seen here combine a mesh toe box, patterned laces and motion control technology. Available now at atmos.
