New Balance update their Native American-inspired A20 high-top with some new colorways for this season. Originally debuting around the same time last year, three new colors are available in “Fog”, “Copper” and “Chery Black”. Based on New Balance’s previous basketball offerings, the A20 brings to the table a moccasin like construction through the toebox with lace detailing on the heel and a splash of woven color on the tongue. Available for pre-order now through atmos with a release set for November.

Playing host to a series of revamped styles, the A-collection from New Balance has seen some interesting offerings come through its doors. The latest features the A20, a re-worked basketball style which adopts various moccasin characteristics. Contrast stitching marks the toebox as well as seen following a slight curvature along the middle of the shoe. Native-inspirations manifest themselves over the tongue and on highlights seen on the heel. Available in two colors at atmos next month.

The “A” line of New Balance offerings has brought forth some of the traditionally conservative brand’s most eclectic footwear designs over the last little while including off-base releases such as the creeper-inspired A16. The high-top A20 looks to Native American “Navajo” aesthetics for its inspiration as it combines a moc-toe upper with subtle color highlights based on Navajo Indian textiles. Other highlights include tonal logos and a detailing on the top of the heel. Available starting July.
