This mesmerizing time-lapse video features sequences of photographs taken with a low-light camera by the space crew that occupied the International Space Station from August to October 2011. Edited by Michael König, with music by Jan Jelinek, all images were taken courtesy of NASA’s Image Science and Analysis Laboratory. Through this piece, we’re able to sneak a glimpse at our world in a way that we’ve rarely been able to see before, showing the world in all of its glory in a short span of five minutes.

As a celebration of footwear veterans Dr Martens’ 50th anniversary, they have enlisted 10 contemporary bands and film directors to cover 10 cult classic tracks. This offering from N.A.S.A is the 7th and most recent of the series, and is their take on the classic reggae banger “I chase the devil” by Max Romeo and The Upsetters. The animated video for the track was directed by British reggae/punk musician and film director Don Letts, and is the perfect visual accompaniment to their modern spaced out take of the classic song.

Innovative music collective N.A.S.A. launches the official video for “Strange Enough” onto Youtube. In classic N.A.S.A. fashion, the track features an impressive collaborative line-up. The track includes Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Fatlip of Pharcyde and features vocals by the legendary Old Dirty Bastard of the Wu-Tang Clan. The video is an animated journey filled with eccentric artwork by Stephan Doitschinoff, and was produced by Terence Teh and directed by Lorna T & Studio Giblets. Clean and DJ Zegon – recruits seasoned veterans Kool Keith and Tom Waits for their new single Spacial Thoughts off their debut album The Spirit Of Apollo. The impressive video was created by Montreal-based Fluorescent Hill that truly work their magic with clever and inspiring animation. So get your 3D-glasses ready folks!
