In a triple collaboration, Dickies, master-piece, and nano・universe get together to produce a waist bag and backpack for the Japanese retailer’s 2011 capsule collection. The bags are made using the same materials from Dickies’ twill work pants featuring 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Complimented with leather details and appropriate steel hardware, the collaboration spares no details in this collection. Available now at MSPC.

Intended to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Harris Tweed, this Bespoke Down Shirt has been released by THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL alongside Japanese brand/retailer nano・universe. Boasting a hefty construction and contrasting pale green/orange colorway, this item features a single zip pocket on the front as the only noticeable detail. A textured tweed pattern covers the entirety of the shirt. Available now at nano・universe for ¥34,650 JPY (approximately $446 USD).

Japanese retailer nano universe collaborates with two brands to bring us these down vests for the fall/winter season. First up is a joint project with THE NORTH FACE who have taken a Harris Tweed pattern and printed it directly on to a Pertex insulated body. Next is a collaboration with DUVETICA which has resulted in a heavyweight vest manufactured from a wool fabric created by reputable Italian brand Cerutti, giving it a classic high quality look. Retailing at ¥31,500 JPY (approximately $400 USD) and ¥77,700 JPY (approximately $990 USD) respectively, both of these vest will be in select nano universe stores soon.

Japanese retailers nano universe and atmos have teamed up with Reebok to produce this colorway of the Insta Pump Fury model. In keeping with the distinctly styled and technologically advanced runner, the materials used include an animal hair toebox, ostrich skin leather print, and PVC alongside the more familiar soft fabrics. Colored in a stealth black on black colorway, the model is detailed with a speckled midsole that also features small white segments. The three-way collaboration is now available from atmos.

Many have come to terms with the end of Number (N)ine which was undoubtedly alleviated by the fact that founder Takahiro Miyashita was quick to move onto TheSoloIst. However, retro releases have largely continued on through the n(n) range as nano universe look into the archives to unveil a denim shirt. Originally seen in 2007, the shirt features a 10.5oz fabric with ample amounts of distress and wear.

Undoubtedly the “brand name” fabric this season within the Japanese market, Harris Tweed finds itself outside of the usual fashion realm and on a collection of teddy bears. Created with nano universe, the bears come in several different patterns and designs including some iconic aesthetics. Available through nano universe.

Premier Japanese retailer nano universe has just released these laced boots. Colored in a dark charcoal-grey, the boots are sky-cut and feature wrap around laces for ankle support. Sitting atop a thick Vibram sole that has become customary across contemporary Japanese designs, the boots are created using both leather and suede panels, fastened with rounded, waxed laces. The boots are now available from zozo.

Japanese retailer nano universe develops this new series of Rat Fink polo shirts, featuring the work of hot rod icon Ed Roth, who’s Rat Fink character has become the unofficial trademark of 1950-60s custom car culture. The polo shirts are offered in a series of colorways, each featuring a simple embroidered logo amongst a slim-fitting shirt which imitates the style of yesteryear. These shirts are now available directly through nano universe.

Japanese retailer nano universe continues its recent string of collabo projects with this latest sneaker, made alongside classic surf specialists Lightning Bolt, which just recently relaunched their brand. The kicks are offered in two colorways, each featuring a bold print with the tongue sporting Lightning Bolt’s trademark logo. Look for these to drop via nano universe.
