To celebrate the release of Terry Richardson’s latest book Mom & Dad, Moscot have produced these limited edition “Terry” sunglasses. Based on the photographer’s iconic eyewear that he is always seen in, these sunglasses feature an angular oversized acetate frame and are limited to 350 pairs worldwide through colette.

Made for the man who has spent countless hours shooting his own originals, Moscot introduces The Terry LE – a new limited edition collaboration inspired by iconic photographer, Terry Richardson and his signature aviator specs. A fixture on Terry, and often spotted on the faces of his subjects and the celebrities he shoots, The Terry LE is as angular as it is oversized – essential for hours spent creating magic behind the lens. The frames – limited to only 350 pairs (225 Black, 125 Grey) – are laser numbered for authenticity and shipped in their own special edition cases. Available now through the Moscot online store.

An important piece of Moscot’s history and legacy, the G15 remains largely unchanged since its first introduction in 1930. Counting numerous influential personalities as fans of the frames, the G15 is seen here with its rounded aesthetic in a tortoise finish. Venerable New York City institution Moscot previews three new frames, available now exclusively from Moscot.com and the Moscot retail shops – a harbinger of its highly anticipated, redesigned and expanded Fall 2010/Winter 2011 Moscpt Spirit Collection, which will feature 20 styles in total and be launched at SILMO in Paris, September 2010. These new styles – like the rest of the collection – leverage the company’s 95 years of expertise in eyewear, sensibility and downtown New York City heritage, reinterpreting classic design elements from the Moscot Originals Collection for a slightly more progressive, modern look. Each frame is constructed from a combination of metal and the finest Italian acetate – made by the fourth generation Mazzuchelli family – and feature the company’s new branded “M” on the temple tips.

The Grover – The Collection’s most creative frame, The GROVER hints of an Aviator but with a lot more attitude. Not a frame for the meek, The GROVER looks best on men with strong features – think chiseled jaw and other prominent manly facial features. Finally seeing an official release is the collaborative project between premier footwear specialists Common Projects, who have since begun producing accessories, and eyewear purveyors Moscot New York. Taking on the classic wayfarer look, these new shades feature a matte black finish with glossy tonal detailing and the minimalistic branding usually associated with Common Projects. They are now available through oki-ni with a retail price tag of $361 USD.

First seen a few days back, here’s a closer look at the upcoming Common Projects x Moscot Sunglasses from Common Project accessories line. Produced by Moscot Originals from New York, the frames take on a matte black finish with a hint of glossy tonal detailing and tinted lenses. Retails for $285 and will be available soon at Moscot retail locations.
