Newly offered up from Missoni in a collaborative effort alongside footwear brand Havaianas is this capsule collection for 2012 spring/summer. A series of bold styles involving Missoni’s classic pattern adorn this release, which consists of a selection of sandals with varying patterns featured on the sole of each. Dual branding from each label round out this ideal summer collection which continues on Missoni’s collaborative footwear path which has included Converse in recent times.

Missoni is showing off their Spring/Summer 2012 sandal collection, and as usual, the brand continues to strike an elegant balance between fresh, inspired design and classical formal wear. Both these featured sandals, and their matching espadrille counterparts feature Vibram soles and patterns exclusive to Missoni. The collection should already be available at Missoni flagship stores, and selected stockists worldwide.

The iconic Chuck Taylor enjoys another fresh zigzag redesign courtesy of Italian fashion house Missoni for Spring/Summer 2012. This new release finds the timeless Chuck wrapped in Missoni’s celebrated raschel knit and multi-stitch space-dyed cotton. Leather uppers and subtly branded, embossed toe-wraps round out the ultra-premium, First String package. Understandably, this collaboration will be available in extremely limited quantities, starting on April 14 at Missoni boutiques and selected Converse First String stockists. Pricing for each model is expected to be set at $200 USD.

The footwear preview of the forthcoming collaboration between Missoni and Converse for fall/winter showcases a reworked Chuck Taylor that is sure to create buzz. The upper is given a rich gray texture and paired with a tan racing sole, heel strap and iconic All-Star logo. The result is a textured and woven sensibility we’ve come to expect from the Italian brand that doesn’t render the iconic Chuck Taylor silhouette unrecognizable. Converse gives us a look into the brand’s continued collaboration with premium Italian label Missoni, this time focused on the iconic Auckland Racer – a design initially introduced in the 1970s. Carrying a darker palette than the spring variation showed some months back, this upcoming installment boasts a woven fusion of black, greys and coppers, with white outsoles adding some contrast. With Milan Fashion Week in full effect, Missoni unveiled its latest collection for the Fall/Winter 2012 season. Featuring a host of knit pieces, outerwear and suiting, the collection sees a wide array of textures and patterns. Notable amongst the arrangement is a heather grey, double-breasted suit as well as several items styled with the Jacquard and zigzag patterns that have become so recognizable from the Missoni label. The color palette is characterized by a host of muted greens, blues and greys. The collection as a whole boasts a sophisticated balance of eye-catching garments as well as several understated chic pieces.

Converse launches the third limited collection of Missoni for Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoes for men and women. Continuing on the success of the 2010 collaboration between Converse and Missoni, two new styles are being released by these iconic brands for the upcoming 2011 season. Again using iconic Missoni space-dyed knits, this collection includes vibrant multicolored horizontal stripe patterns using the exclusive Converse First String Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette, originally created for the U.S. military in the 1960s. Each shoe will be available in limited quantities beginning in March at Missoni boutiques (New York and Beverly Hills), Aloha Rag (New York), Canvas (Malibu) and Jeffrey’s (New York and Atlanta), and also at select retailers globally at $200 USD.
