Referred to by some as the “King of Cashmere,” French label Lucien Pellat-Finet is known for its intricate, high quality designs. For the Fall/Winter 2011 season, they’ve decided to team up with Japanese pop artist Keiichi Tanaami to design a capsule collection based around the concept of “luxury street wear.” Consisting of several sweaters, each featuring a different graphic print designed by Tanaami, the pieces will be available for purchase through the Lucien Pellat-Finet boutique in Japan.

Lucien Pellat-Finet release the following Skull watch as one of the brand’s new offerings for this year. With inspirations clearly derived from classics within the watch world, the diving style includes a signature skull motif with a rotating date marker and date window. The back of the watch is transparent with water resistance up to 100 meters. The watch is available now at Aloha Rag.

Known for some high-profile collaborations in the past, Lucien Pellat-Finet unveil a new footwear offering for this season. The EMB Monogram sneaker features a full leather-upper with an embossed monogram of the brand’s signature print. A further metallic skull is applied to the rear. It comes in both low-top and high-top versions, available now at ALOHA RAG.

Purveyors of fine cashmere and knit items, Lucien Pellat-Finet’s 2009 Fall/Winter collection was marked by the notable inclusion of Kaikai Kiki’s MR. to co-create the collection. Just recently, Lucien Pellat-Finet opened its third retail location in Osaka, Japan. Defined by a bold aesthetic this season, the liberally-minded city of Osaka makes for the perfect place for this latest retail venture as Pellat-Finet reunited with architect Kengo Kuma to work his creativity.

The diamond key chain is now available in very limited quantities at selected retailers with a hefty price tag of ¥6,090,000 (Approx. $62,000 USD).
