Distressed in the way Kurt Cobain wore them, the shoes provide a rarely seen glimpse into the head of this musical and lyrical genius with sketches that display his hopes, dreams and lyrics from amazing songs such as “Come As You Are”. Often pictured wearing Chuck Taylor All Star, Jack Purcell or One Star shoes, the collection includes versions of all three shoes with wear and fray detailing and Kurt Cobain’s signature subtly embroidered on the shoe’s outer. On the heels of yesterdays Kurt Cobain Converse One Star Low comes a further look at the collection of sneakers set to release later this summer. The collection all feature artwork and writings taken from the Nirvana frontman's 2002 book titled Journals. There is allegedly another All Star model as well, stay tuned for more details. Under the full cooperation of everybody's favorite rocker widow Courtney Love, Converse is celebrating their 100th anniversary with an upcoming pack of Kurt Kobain inspired sneakers. As an avid Converse user, the Cobain pack will include the One Star Low (seen here) and a Chuck Taylor All Star High. Designs are based off of drawings and writings from Cobain's 2002 book Journals.
