Jordan Brand is showing Europe some love with an upcoming Spiz'ike release. While the Spiz'ike is the most favorable Air Jordan hybrid yet, we do anticipate some competition from newly created hybrids like the 6 Rings model. These Spiz'ikes are slated for a Europe only release next month in a black/gold colorway. Look for Paris' Opium to be among the retailers.

Rumors of a Jordan Brand skate shoe have come to fruition in the form of the upcoming Flipsyde. The creation of an official skate model marks an ironic return for the Jordan legacy as the same sneakers worn by his Airness would often make their way onto the feet of skaters in the 80s. The last few days have included a strong cast of upcoming hybrid releases with a special Beijing 2008 Olympics style created titled the Olympian. With alleged influences coming from the Air Jordan IX and X, the Olympian will be available in a handful of colors in time for the Olympics with a release date slated for August.

While it seems as though Jordan Brand has slowed down with its retro releases, replacing some of your favorite classics is an influx of hybrid models referencing both other out of Jordan Brand models such as the Air Force 1 as well as collective creations utilizing popular Jordans. One of these recent hybrid instances is the Six Rings which includes many obvious references to models such as the XI, XIII and VII. Starting off things is an iconic Bulls colorway, set to release on August 16th.

Moving on from the initial Air Jordan meets Air Force 1 mash up that began with the Air Jordan V, the Air Jordan III is next up to undergo the hybrid phase. Kicking off the releases in July are some new colorways that have never before been seen on the Air Jordan III. However, come September, the AJF3 returns to its roots using OG colors one of the most popular Jordans.

Jordan Brand continues into June with another AJF5 release. Bringing together both the Air Force 1 and Air Jordan V, the two highly respected models in their own right have brought mixed reactions from your usual crowd of sneaker connoisseurs; Perhaps more so the first few colorways more so the concept itself. This June 10th release features a USA-esque colorway with white, red and blue with the use of patent leather and perforated leather.

The Air Jordan 1 Armed Forces pack will be releasing this upcoming Saturday May 24th. Two different colorways (one in a walnut and the other in a medium brown) will be releasing in this pack that commemorates Michael Jordan’s brother’s service in the US Military. Both of these Quickstrike releases will be available at all 3 Southern California BLENDS locations.
