For its 2012 spring/summer collection, veteran Japanese brand, GOODENOUGH, aligns with former Stussy and newly appoint adidas creative director, Paul Mittleman, for a capsule collection of graphic tees. Inspired by revolutionaries of the past, these streetwear glory year tees, featuring strong messages for our youth, including “you must learn” and “fight the power.” This empowering collection will be available at select GOODENOUGH retailers for ¥6,825 JPY (approximately $89 USD), starting this Saturday.

Goodenough will be releasing a set of reissue T-shirts featuring some of the brand’s most classic designs. Four different tees are offered in total, all available through Goodenough Japan and participating retailers in a selection of simple colorways including white, black and grey.

A brand originally founded by fragment design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara approximately two decades ago, Goodenough JP was among the early Ura-Hara brands to emerge and subsist over the years. A look into some offerings for this season include button-up shorts involving tonal contrasts brought forth via different patterns, in addition to light flannels and T-shirts. Japanese brand GOODENOUGH has released this “Pray For All” charity T-shirt to help contribute to the relief efforts. The short sleeve tees are available in black and white and feature a slogan that reads “PRAYERS” on the front with the GOODENOUGH logo on the back. Priced at ¥3,990 (approximately $50 USD), all proceeds will be donated to the people and victims of affected areas in Japan. Available now at NOS.

GOODENOUGH take into consideration two classic styles to create the SLV LEATHER STM RIDERS jacket. A work jacket with a shearling liner is the basis for the body while leather sleeves are lifted from traditional motorcycle styles. The end result is a cohesive piece of outerwear which can be seen over at DLX.

In the midst of a greater push, GOODENOUGH of Japan release a marquee item for this season with their Deer Jacket. The jacket comes in two colors with a full deer leather body. With a supple leather choice, the jacket features discrete angled zipper pockets and a collar. Available now at select retailers including NOS.

GOODENOUGH has just added this collaborative tote bag to their latest line of accessories. Working with Crank, the messenger bag is finished with a textured cotton and is colored in either a nautical off-white/navy colorway or in all-black. The bag is versatile, complete with three side pockets and a large zip interior pocket. Styled to be carried in the hand or on the shoulder, the tote messenger is now available from zozo.

GOODENOUGH celebrate the brand’s 20th anniversary in 2010 as one of Japan’s most enduring streetwear labels. While new items are on deck for this season in the form of jackets and denim, GOODENOUGH will also pay homage to its history with two commemorative t-shirts. The collection will be available within the next few days before the end of August.

As part of a special 20th anniversary collection, GOODENOUGH are re-releasing a series of retro and iconic pieces from the past. The Mods Jacket seen here was originally unveiled in 1995 with a return in 2010 featuring a similar approach. The jacket with removable liner comes in an army green color with fishtail back and a colorful Mexican-blanket themed highlight on the left sleeve. Interchangeable patches are also included with each jacket. The jacket will release on February 19th at tokishirazu with a limited run of 100 commemorative bandannas joining the release.
