Legendary brand Fred Perry has now added Head Porter Plus to its list of recent projects. Just yesterday saw the British label seek creative designs from &Sons on a series of polos. Here's a further collection of polos from Head Porter Plus. HPP's influence is predictable in its design with simple bodies highlighted by the use of various accent colors. For their new polo shirt line, British brand Fred Perry has teamed up with the creative duo of &SON and famous stylists Simon Foxton and Nick Griffiths. Blending colorful bold design and British-royal-army-inspired camouflage, those new polos are a compliment to your summertime wardrobe. Fred Perry is an Iconic brand, another original brand with 5 decades of history. Fred Perry himself was world tennis champion in 1928 and in 1952 started making the slim-fit tennis shirts that were revolutionary at the time. A few decades later, his clothes became the uniform for original street cultures in the UK such as Mods and Skinheads. Fred Perry has maintained its connection with culture as well as sport, and do alot of contemporary collabos. The most famous collabo is with Comme des Garçons, but they even let Staple Design in on a piece. They have an extensive music part of their site, and have a small feature on a ska-punk group, staying true to their original fan base that rmade them famous. On the retail front, member's only CELUX represents a lifestyle store whose stock of products was the quintessence of rarity and luxury with many brands offering exclusive CELUX designed products for the boutique. Having said that, CELUX will shut down shop later this year with a last run of products in collaboration with Fred Perry being created by various creative agencies such as Staple Design (NY), Libertine (NY), Duckie Brown (NY), Chatav Ectabit (NY), HTC (LA), Conrad Leach (UK), A Love Movement (LA), Suzukike (Japan), Jean Diadem (Japan), and Green (Japan). Here's a specific look at Staple Design's offering inspired by Elton John track, "Goodbye The Yellow Brick Road". A black and white version are both limited to a three shirt run. Source: jeffstaple

Some pieces from Fred Perry’s Japanese Collection has recently been unveiled on the site of online retailer Zozotown. The main focus of this recent release revolves predominately around outerwear and tops with a wide variety of jackets and sweaters. However some other pieces are included such as accessories and shoes.
