California-based ELM Company strengthens its snapback and T-shirt program with the inclusion of the latest Holiday 2011 City Series. Highlighting eleven cities and a total of seventeen teams, the collection focuses on each city’s most recognizable sport teams with a subtle and ELM Company-inspired variation added to each iconic logo. Each snapback is offered in a two-tone colorway giving nod to the colors of the respective sports teams. Look for the Holiday 2011 City Series to drop through the ELM Company stockists very soon.

CLOUT teamed up with ELM Company, graphic designer Sammy Rodriguez and sign painter Sean Barton on a special benefit project to help raise some much needed funds for the medical costs, therapy, care and well being of the now paralyzed graffiti writer and artist Benny Diar. Benny was in a horrific car accident in February 2008 that left him paralyzed from the neck down. Medical problems from the accident almost killed him multiple times in the weeks following but has since pulled through. Benny still has serious medical problems occasionally arise but he has an incredible will to live and has been working very hard to regain as much of his life and independence as possible. Throughout his recovery, Benny has remained dedicated to art, exploring other mediums and has since started to use acrylics and paints using his mouth to control the brush. The Death Cheater logo was designed by Sammy and Sean Barton is behind the Benny Diar hand featured on back of the cap. Underneath the hat is a silver satin lining and a woven Original CLOUT logo label with some tape shared by both CLOUT and ELM Company. CLOUT continues its collaboration with ELM COMPANY, developing its third release of fitted caps. This time around, CLOUT bases both caps on two of its trademark logos, featured amongst three colorways, including black/grey, white/black and grey/black. Each hat features ELM’s leaf emblem embroidered on the side as well. All are now available exclusively through the CLOUT online store.

CLOUT once again team up with ELM COMPANY to deliver its second release of fitted hats. This time around, CLOUT highlights its “Original CLOUT Logo” and “Classic CLOUT Header” design with 3D black embroidery on tweed platforms. The black and brown tweed features specks of cream, yellow and red accents while the side of the hat boasts ELM’s leaf logo in black and brown, adding a nice complimentary touch. Both versions are exclusively available for purchase within the CLOUT online store.

Elm Company recently teamed up with San Francisco’s Black Scale on a new version of Elm’s Telford Beanie. Simple with top notch quality, the beanie is featured in two solid colorways, including red and black, with black brand badging and a button snap closure. Following up on their well-received collabo shirts with Todd Bratrud, COPE2, and Rime, the folks at CLOUT Magazine give us a preview of their upcoming project alongside ELMCOMPANY. Playing off their “Original CLOUT logo” and “Classic CLOUT header”, the Bay Area-based graffiti magazine create two different fitted caps, both in three subtle color options a piece. An official release is slated for October 30th, 2009 within the magazine’s online store.

Los Angeles Streetwear/Contemporary Boutique El Mercado has teamed up with ELMCOMPANY to produce a run of hats celebrating the long time EL Mercado emblematic Marisol logo. The hats feature different fabrics including a wool blend, cotton twill, and denim accented with a two-tone Marisol logo and El Mercado text embroidered on the backside. The caps will be dropping Friday June 26th along with El Mercado’s Summer 2009 t-shirt collection.

Previously bringing you the inaugural ELMCOMPANY Designer Music: Summertime fitted cap based on the works of The Fresh Prince Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, Chace Infinite and Kevin Sanchez step up to plate once again and revisits a fresh new Hip-Hop inspired theme with this upcoming ELMCOMPANY fitted drop. Based on the 1989 cult-classic Fight the Power by Public Enemy, Chace Infinite looks to capture much of the societal tension ravaging America at the time which included the Yusef Hawkins case. Taking notes from the issues so thoroughly addressed by PE, the hat also goes on to capture some of the essence from another classic, the Spike Lee directed “Do the Right Thing” movie. Here’s a peek into ELMCOMPANY’s 2009 spring collection. The hat specialists present some cleanly designed logo-driven designs incorporating both their trademark leaf logo as well as a stylized ‘E’. Further diversifying their collection, the Flintridge offers a more sophisticated look in two different colors. The ELCOMPNAY 2009 spring collection will begin shipping in early February. One of the marquee releases from ELM COMPANY’s 2008 fall collection features their Black Snake pack. With the obvious theme featuring black snakeskin, we see a total of three styles embody the use of this material. Two styles of the brand’s Ellington fedora in addition to a 5-panel cap are available. The two fedoras are distinguished by a full black snakeskin body relative to a wool plaid with snakeskin belt highlight. The 5-panel itself utilizes black melton wool with a snakeskin front panel.
