Ronnie Fieg’s Kith NYC recently took stock of the silhouette that is mocked up in white leather and waxed canvas and set atop a complementary white outsole. Minimalistic tan leather traces its way to the stitch down midsole, while slender tonal laces and metal eyelet hardware round out the release. Availability is now offered online for a retail of $140 USD.

The Spring/Summer 2012 Dr. Martens collection is centered around the British culture that has served as the roots of the storied brand. One such instrumental piece was the classic Barrett slip-on shoe. This traditional leather-welted loafer is constructed from Dr. Martens signature smooth leather and finished with a neatly contrasted white leather tassel. Retailer Kith NYC currently has availability with a retail of $140 USD.

Having worked together plenty of times in the past, Stussy and Dr. Martens align once again for the second recreation of the Hambleton model. Early last year the two utilitarian brands released the wallabee-styled shoe in canvas, however this year they go a step further bridging luxe fashion with sportswear sensibilities offering a soft suede upper atop a durable Goodyear welt. The Hambleton II continues with a complimenting white sole and subtle logos embossed at the heel, tongue and insole. This collaborative effort will be available at Stussy Japan in the coming weeks, priced at ¥29,400 JPY (approximately $351 USD) with your choice of three colorways, including navy, tan and grey.

I.T’s izzue strengthens its ties with Dr. Martens to present an interesting version of the classic 1461 low cut silhouette for the immediate Spring 2012 season. Having previously worked together to update the 8-eye 1461 boots with a wingtip design aesthetic, the duo has proven their ability to augment a proven timeless aesthetic with a more stylish appeal. This latest iteration of the 3-eye version however receives a more understated treatment opposite to the more eccentric tonal interpretations. Set against a white rubber outsole by means of Goodyear-welt process, the shoe’s deep navy upper caps off with contrast white laces and stitching. Priced for $1,399 HKD (approximately $180 USD), the shoe is now being offered through izzue.

Dr. Martens steps out of their comfort zone with a set of ornate Needlepoint 3-Eye Shoes for Spring/Summer 2012. Boasting intricately woven and colorful flower tapestries over their 460 8-Eye boot and 1461 3-Eye shoe, the outcome is a decorative piece of functionality.
