Without a doubt, the rich will still find it necessary to wear luxury items even during a gas attack. Check out these novelty masks supposedly from Diddo Velema in collaboration with Gucci and Louis Vuitton. These jewel encrusted, monogram basted pieces will assure the survival of the richest the day someone decides to push the button.
Editor's Note: Diddo Velema contacted us to clarify a few things. The gas masks were created purely as an art project to highlight the underlying societal climate that demands consumption, and not an official collaboration of any sorts. More information can be seen through the Diddo Velema website and through a note seen below.
Designer Gas Masks is a conceptual art project. The masks are not real commercial products. They are designed to be displayed in magazines and exhibited at galleries. They are not for sale. The brands used to visualize the concept have been done so without their permission. However, as the artist, I am not responsible for any copyright infringements that may result from the publication/display of the masks.

Recently we had a post about the Wood Wood Temporary Space at Comme des Garcons Guerilla Store. Here are some actual pictures from the space. This Karl-Oskar Olsen and Brian SS design, as expected, uses lots of tape and vintage looking furniture for decorative designs; a lot of cardboard boxes were used for shelving and product display. The Wood Wood space is very unique from most other stores that use a sleek and high-end approach. Be sure to check out this space while you can.

For all Bapeheads, the relaunch of Bape.com is definitely very good news. Their previous website was quite cumbersome to use as you had to download their very own Bape application in order to see the content. This made it quite difficult for Bapeheads to check what's new on a daily basis. Content wise, everything is pretty much the same as before. You can still check out the latest news and products from the brand as well as take a look at some of Bape's other ventures like the Bape Cafe, Bape Cuts, Bape Sounds and more.
You can check out the site now at www.bape.com.
