Always a perennial favorite, the adidas Busenitz Pro Mid is back for another season this spring. Available in a muted colorway offering with two subtly contrasting Cinder hues, this iteration of the Busenitz is sure to play nicely in your sneaker collection. As with previous versions of the shoe, you’ll get a tough suede upper, grippy gum rubber sole, and that signature fold-down tongue which helps keep the laces at bay. Not feeling the tongue? Taking the faces behind adidas’ Skateboarding team, adidas Originals gave the group of Dennis Busenitz, Tim O’Connor and Mark Gonzales the chance to make their mark on the Nizza High and create their own exclusive designs. Mark Gonzales’ version features a white canvas with blue stripes with some colorful touches along the ankle. The Dennis Busenitz model relies on a brownish yellow to set the tone with the absence of any artwork. Rounding out the collection is Tim O’Connor’s version in black/yellow which features a detail detail on the ankle. Look for these to hit select retailers including the Crooked Tongues Store.

adidas Skateboarding introduces its first signature model skate shoe for Dennis Busenitz. This video showcases Dennis and adidas footwear designer Danny Kinley discussing the inspiration behind the shoe and how they came up with the finished design. Also featured is new footage of Dennis skating all over San Francisco. In conjunction with the sneaker, adidas Skateboarding launched a Dennis Busenitz Pro Model website.
