Last year an individual by the name of BNE caused a huge uproar around the world as suddenly major cities around the world were littered with BNE stickers. The acronym BNE itself ignited an overwhelming number of assumptions on its meaning, however many of the stickers contained two Japanese characters which loosely to “visit” or “come here” which may have provided a clue. The matter escalated and even had the San Francisco mayor place a $2,500 USD bounty on the persecution of BNE.
Once a year, the artist places one print up for sale on his website. This Tokyo Neighborhood Watch print measures 20” x 20”, with only 100 copies created. Each copy is individually signed and numbered. The print will go on sale 8 pm EST on Monday, October 15th. With a price tag of $500, the sales of these prints will surely provide BNE another chance to travel around the world and plaster more stickers.
