ASOS: Urban Tour is a campaign created by the online-only fashion store to be a digital fashion hub, highlighting seven trending cities from around the globe. The project aims to focus on individuals and groups who are setting trends and breaking the boundaries of fashion, music and art in their respective spheres of influence.

Aligning with the ASOS: Urban Tour, Vice magazine and ASOS linked up in Paris with PainOchoKolat, a multidisciplinary collective working in event promotion, entertainment and brand management. The four-person group of friends developed out of a common cultural upbringing and shared inspiration from basketball, hip-hop and personal style. Today, their crew is responsible for the development of a creative, fun-loving community in their local Parisian neighborhood of Pigalle.

British retailer ASOS strengthens its ties with London-based menswear designer Carolyn Massey to present a 15-piece capsule collection. Expected to hit the store this month, the collection gathers an exclusive run of practical casual pieces that echo timeless English styling. From staple pocketed shirts to tailored coats, this capsule collection hits shelves with prices ranging from £30 to £225 GBP (approximately $46 to $346 USD).

ASOS recently unveiled its comprehensive footwear line for this season thanks to a party hosted in part by Ketel One vodka and Peroni. Two distinct capsules include the Made in England line as well as their own more affordable in-house collection. A clean division sees several separate themes which include Smart, Sport, Hiking, Outdoors and Boots as well as the Northampton-made Made in England collection.

British retailer ASOS has chosen model of the moment Alexander Beck to highlight its lineup of premium labels for Fall 2011. Shot by fashion photographer Scott Trindle, the lookbook offers a range of looks that mostly showcase the label’s knit and outwear offerings for the season. With a mix of sporty, heritage and fashion-forward styles, the collection proves to be another home run for the retailer, offering a little something for everyone.

British retailer ASOS recently posted this lookbook for their Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Put together by Linda Brownlee and Robbie Spencer, the majority takes a smart/casual approach, often adding playful twists to more formal garments. Certainly focusing on styles for the warmer months, not least highlighted by the number of shorts on show, there is still plenty of upper-body layering to be seen throughout. Fans can expect to start seeing the first releases over the next few weeks.

Fresh faced graduate out of design school Domingo Rodriguez has been steadily garnering great acclaim as a designer within the ranks of the fashion world. Having recently showcased his sophomore collection in Paris at Esquire’s “7 Brilliant Brits” showcase, Rodriguez has been selected as one of two designers to by British fashion outlet ASOS to take part in their MA}ke initiative and to have their capsule collection sold on the soaring website. The initiative mentors young designers through the various functions of the fashion business developing their talents into commercial platforms. The folks over at Style Salvage had the pleasure to sit down and chat with Domingo about his passion for the craft, experience with ASOS and the MA}ke program and what the future holds for the talented designer.

British retailer ASOS have launched a new line of tailored menswear called Black, with attention paid to fabric, function and fit. The collection is captured in a short film directed by Paul Gore, that shows poignant images of a model dressed in both androgynous and tailored looks in dark background with a burning chair and an angry dog! This dark inspiration is a hint of what we can expect from the new line. The collection is now available through ASOS.

The popular online store asos have put together a simple lookbook highlighting several brands from its inventory. The Designers Lookbook showcases key pieces from each label featured, with brands including: Carolyn Massey, B Store, D.S Dundee, Filson, Three Over One, James Long, JCDC, Alpha 60, Opening Ceremony, Tim Soar, Zambesi and Vivienne Westwood Anglomania x Lee. All garments will be available soon from the asos store, while Zambesi’s collection is available now at asos.

Online retailer ASOS mastermind an interesting and innovative project for the 2010 spring/summer season with their “Best of British” Collection. 19 different British brands from different fashion backgrounds unite to produce 9 different capsules. They include Ally Capellino and Dr. Martens (footwear), Carolyn Massey and Slazenger (apparel), Grenson and The British Millerain Co. Ltd. (footwear), Eley Kishimoto and Orlebar Brown+ (swim short), Holland Esq and Lavenham (apparel), Rose Black and Peckham Rye and Olney (accessories), Brady and Jas M.B. (bags), Soar and Corgi (apparel) and Bill Amberg and Southsea Deckchairs (bags). Parts of the collection are available now while the rest will release in the near future.
