Having already implemented the hand-drawn style multiple times in past releases, Japanese street brand APPLEBUM enforces the style once more, this time made into a collaborative shirt with Undefeated Japan. Part of the brand’s Tokyo 23 project, “Daddy” is one of three total graphics, with only 23 of these tees being made. The shirt’s overall theme is a sentimental one to most sneakerheads with kids, with both father and son sharing their love of kicks in a hand-drawn snapshot. The A Tribe Called Stussy launch their second group of T-shirts. Bringing on board people that celebrate and embody Stussy’s approach to design and lifestyle, this Group #2 release includes Applebum, Facetasm, WONDER WORKER GUERRILLA BAND, SASQUATCHfabrix. and PHENOMENON.

Building off their previous collaborative efforts, Stussy and Japanese street brand Applebum link up for another installment of their throwback graphic tees. This latest one is focused on a surfing motif featuring the phrase “Bonita Applebum Ya Gotta Put Me On,” of course referencing the classic “Bonita Applebum” cut by A Tribe Called Quest. The shirt will only be made available through Applebum in limited quantities. Tune into the brand’s website for further updates regarding availability.

Dedicating a substantial part of what they represent around the New Era 59FIFTY fitted cap, magazine and barbershop FRANK151 team-up with Japan’s APPLEBUM on a special ‘F’ version of their “Babylon View” print. The cap’s body features an all-over photo print with the iconic FRANK151 logo in white. Subtle black logos for both FRANK151 and APPLEBUM are applied throughout the cap with a special message embroidered under the brim. The cap will be available through both APPLEBUM and FRANK151 channels.

Following last year’s WT Tee Kid release, Japanese street label Applebum teams up with Stussy on another caricature graphic t-shirt, combining Applebum’s signature aesthetic and Stussy’s iconic graphics program. The shirt comes in a white colorway, priced at ¥6,300 (Approx. $75 USD). Look for a release this coming Saturday, September 18th, 2010 through Stussy Japan chapter stores.

Japanese street label Applebum adds eyewear to its repertoire with the introduction of their “woody” sunglasses for Spring/Summer, of course taking the name after its wood grain design. The shades are produced in Fukui, Japan, which is world-renowned for its production of quality eyewear. Although they look like wood, the sunglasses are actually patterned over the surface with laser etching, similar to various styles we’ve seen this year. For those interested, they are now available through select Applebum accounts.

The latest releases from Applebum’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection are highlighted with the brand’s new textile pattern, the “Babylon Camo” series. The pattern is an Applebum original, created with a collage of shot images from the Tokyo skyscraper’s night view. Products include a cotton military shirt, short cargo pants, polyester back pack, digital camera case, and an army hat. Available now here.

Applebum returns for Spring/Summer 2010 with a new collection of goods following the brand’s streetwear aesthetic. The line features a good amount of classics, including jackets, jerseys, a vest, and a wide assortment of accessories. Also making an appearance is the second round of its original textile line. Having previously focused its attention to the world of sneakers, Applebum returns this Spring with a new “Orange Box” range which plays off everyone’s favorite sneaker box. The line consists of a polyester zip-up parka, riders jacket, riders vest, laptop case, and scarf, all of which can be found through Applebum retailers.

A few marquee releases out of Applebum over the last few drops have included a number of items produced in collaboration with The Wu-Tang Clan. Their latest release features the following skate deck featuring the photography of Danny Hastings and based on the work seen from the legendary “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)” album.
