For those familiar with French brand APC, the brand has sought a mission statement that focuses on the creation of apparel and fashion with simple and timeless aesthetics. With that in mind, this theme which has made the brand immensely popular sees itself in a collection with Japanese brand Porter. APC has returned to the foundation of the popular fabric madras to create a special collection for the 2008 spring/summer season. Madras itself was named after the English name given to what is now known as Chennai in India.
