Rivington Club are bringing the heat once again as their latest series of collaborations feature collabos outside the usual and expected realm of the larger sneaker companies. From Lacoste to Asics, Saucony joins the list for 2008 footwear collaborations in these classic running SMUs. Available only at Rivington Club and online at rivingtonclub.com, three colors are available in red, green and blue with an anticipated release date set for the end of June.
One of New York's leading sneaker institutions, Rivington Club has had the benefit of numerous collaborations with various storied athletic brands. In their most recent team-up with Lacoste, ARC brings forth another dimension of the brands identity with a strong choice of colors and recognizable graphics. The well-traveled Lacoste polo and 1980s tennis classic Ardeur became a template for ARC to instill their brand aesthetics. The goal of designing each piece was to stay in line with sporting apparel which features many visual cues necessary on the field. The polos itself are beefed up similar to rugby shirts and feature 158, an homage to the store's address at 158 Rivington St. in New York as well as the legendary Lacoste crocodile logo. This capsule is slated for a July release at fine retailers including Rivington Club in NYC, Barney's NYC, Colette, Dover Street Market and Dieci Corso Como.
