Airwalk is back onto the scene with the release of a more solid interpretation of its iconic Desert Boot model. Created with premium materials on the upper, which indicate a more refined look compared to the previous suede versions, this boot also employs luxurious smooth leather and comes through with tonal elements such as stitches and laces. In addition, the shoe sits atop of a ripple sole. You can cop a pair at Mita for ¥16,800 JPY (approximately $217 USD).

Presented above are the detailed shots of the collaboration Everest Boots from A Bathing Ape and Airwalk. Based on a chukka silhouette, the boot’s upper is crafted from suede material with a beige colorway. Perfect for the colder months ahead of everyone, the boot is lined with borg fleece for extra warmth, while a solid ripple sole will be a good accompaniment to the harsh outdoor surface. From the long list of A Bathing Ape collaborations come these winter boots made in conjunction with long-running shoe manufacture Airwalk. The Everest model has been taken and updated with a stronger sole, borg lining and a warped BAPE logo embossed into the side. The upper has been made from suede in an exclusive beige colorway. The A Bathing Ape x Airwalk Everest boots are set for release later this year and have a Japanese retail price of ¥17,640 JPY (approximately $230 USD).

Japanese brand MACKDADDY team up with shoe manufacturer Airwalk in this new collaboration. Choosing the brand’s best-known “One” silhouette as their canvas, MACKDADDY swathed the kicks in a beat-up, bleached-out light blue denim upper in order to create a unique and memorable collaborative sneaker. Versatile enough to be worn with nearly anything, these chunky, skate-influenced shoes are sure to be available in an exclusive run, as most team-driven streetwear projects tend to veer towards the limited-edition side of the market.

Having seen a solid comeback within the past couple of seasons, storied American footwear company Airwalk continues the production of its Everest Boot for Holiday 2010. Done up in a selection of new colorways for the Japanese market, the boots feature their signature suede uppers with red, brown and purple hues introduced for the new season. All three also take on black outsoles for a bit of added contrast to the mostly tonal look. These are available now through Tokishirazu.

Initially spotted earlier in the year, Airwalk brings back another classic in the Jim, a clean cut design first introduced in the early 90s. The shoes will come in a handful of limited edition colorways, with this tennis ball version being one of the standouts. Only 300 units will be produced, available via Airwalk’s invisible pop-up store on November 6th as well as through Airwalk.com on November 15th, 2010. If they sell out during the pop-up store, then they will not be available come November 15th.

Bringing back the styles that made the brand so popular in the late 80s and early 90s, skate brand Airwalk presents a re-issue edition of its iconic Enigma design. The high tops return in a trip of new colorways, made exclusive to the Japanese market. Both take on suede/leather combo uppers, with contrasting midsoles and branding keep to a minimum. Definitely a clean and classic look from Airwalk, which has seen a welcomed resurrection in recent years. These are now available through Tokishirazu.

The revival of Airwalk has taken place over the last few years. With only a select number of collaborations, here’s a recent team-up from Japan that involved retailer tokishirazu, XLarge and Airwalk together on undoubtedly one of Airwalk’s icons, the Jim. Noted by its tennis ball felt upper, two versions are seen in black/white and black/black. Both models will be available via tokishirazu’s ZOZO store.
