The Air Jordan 1 Retro Phat makes a return this Spring 2012 via an updated Varsity Red/Cool Grey color iteration. Boasting a mostly red leather upper, mesh and perforated panels are layered across the sides and upper heel of the shoe alongside a cement-patterned tonal Swoosh. Recognizable Cool Grey paints the laces, interior lining and laces before making its way to the matching outsole. The Air Jordan 1 Retro Phat is now available via Kinetics. Retail is set at ¥13,650 JPY (approximately $175 USD).

While Air Jordan was officially grounded some years back, it seems only apropos that the shoe that he wore during his rookie campaign is being made for preview just prior to the NBA tip-off. Available in February, the Air Jordan 1 is given a Boston Celtics-esque colorway courtesy of the phat black that adorns the upper and the action green present on the sole, tongue branding and bottom, as well as white accents. It’s then finished off with an elephant print on the swoosh. Retailing for $105 USD, this is part of a colorway that features nine different options, ranging from black/black to cool grey/university blue.

Set to release in January of 2012, Jordan brand reveals a new scheme of its Air Jordan 1 Phat model. The high-top makeup welcomes a leather and mesh combination on the upper, as cool grey accounts for the contrasting shading in the laces, lining and outsole. Tonal branding has been implemented alongside, while the overall aesthetic more closely mirrors a classic Jordan silhouette than most Phat editions. The shoe is set to retail at $105 USD.

While you may have to wait just a little longer to get your hands on the Air Jordan Banned (the style isn’t due out until later this year), Nike is satiating your appetite with the release of this Air Jordan 1 Phat model. The hi-top sneaker features a pearl carbon fiber paneling and a clean silhouette with the option of an all-white colorway or a white and black one. Priced at $100 USD, the model should be available through select Air Jordan accounts starting this July.

In the latter half of 2009, expect four new Air Jordan I (1) Retro Phat Premiers to drop. Starting with October 1st comes a french blue / varsity red model followed by two drops in October, midnight navy / ceramic and black / pine green. December will round things off with a black / varsity red – varsity maize version. Retail is set at $110 USD and will be available at select Jordan Brand retailers.

After a series of bold releases, things seemed to have calmed down slightly for impending Air Jordan I releases. The slightly re-tuned AJ1 Phat Low is seen here in a minimalistic white upper. The shoe’s defining element is its incorporation of ostrich skin along the upper. A release for these are slated for early July at select Jordan Brand retailers including Kinetics.
