Designer Tom Ford's 2007 perfume campaign was marked by a sexually charged and provocative ad campaign. Carrying over into 2008, Ford's spring/summer collection has once again enlisted none other then Terry Richardson as the photographer of choice. We can't help but think that campaign direction detracts slightly from the focus on apparel.

Crooks & Castles recently put up another billboard on Fairfax after their first one got worn out by weather. This one is definitely attention-getting with their signature Medusa and snakes graphics with the word "Crooks" written in huge letters. Be on the lookout for the billboard if you're driving around the Los Angeles area, maybe you should avoid looking straight at her in the eyes!
Last month, Nike's campaign for the all new Hyperdunk basketball shoe kicked off with a campaign featuring the NBA's 2007/2008 MVP Kobe Bryant leaping over a speeding Aston Martin. Following up on this, Kobe and the Hyperdunk's latest spot also incorporates the Jackass crew with the backdrop featuring a pool filled with snakes. Of course with the inclusion of Jackass, it's more then safe to assume there's some added comedic value involved in the video.

From Guy Ritchie's stunningly produced Take It To The Next Level commercial for Nike, comes adidas' "Dream Big" ad for the upcoming Euro 2008 Championships. The commercial follows adidas' core of star studded endorsed players as they hit some of the world's smallest soccer powers. Three different locations include San Marino, Isles of Sicily (UK) and Andorra. Along each locale, the theme of "Dream Big" resonates deeply with the young up and coming players as the likes of David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Patrick Vieira, Michael Ballack, Lionel Messi, David Villa, Lukas Podolski and Arjen Robben all feature.

You're never going to have the misfortune of getting dangled by Cristiano Ronaldo nor finish for a goal off a Cesc Fabregas cross. In fact you're never going to suit up for Arsenal. However with Nike's latest commercial, Take It To The Next Level, you have just been given a first hand perspective as you rise to prominence. Being scouted by Arsene Wenger himself, you are soon afforded the opportunity of coming on as a sub in a huge match vs. rivals Manchester United, also for your missed tackle to led to C. Ronaldo scoring a goal. Through the glamor of red carpet events and playing in Europe, this is all met with hard work off the pitch training. Nike has always had a knack for creating great soccer related commercials and this one is no exception.
