The adidas Tobacco which we came to know and love back in 1978 is back for Spring 2012 in a “wheat” colorway that seems to mark the return of warmer weather to parts of the world where terrain has remained barren due to the lack of sunshine. Brown accents are utilized on the three stripe logo, heel tab and sole of this pair, while embossed adidas branding is featured on the tongue ever-so-slightly. The adidas Originals 2012 spring/summer “adi-Archive” Collection features a range of suedes, leathers and nylons that comprise the classic styles that have been reinterpreted. The Marathon 88 is available in white, while the Malmö in “marine” is mocked up with a gum outsole and contrasted with green, three stripes, and a heel tab. Rounding out the collection is a tobacco silhouette with tonal striping and heel hit. Each shoe is available for between $90-$95 USD at Wish.

Drawing on influences from terrace classics the Samba and the Gazelle, the Tobacco saw an original release over 30 years ago back in 1978. The shoe’s sleek profile upper feature cues from both the aforementioned model as this latest release comes in some clean colorways.
