adidas Originals welcome a new Leather Pack to the brand’s latest seasonal collection. Featured models include the almighty Superstar, timeless Stan Smith and classic Forum Mid. Each is decked out in a premium brown leather motif with blue and orange canvas paneling adding some additional flavor. Four different styles are offered in total, with all of them now available through select adidas Originals stockists worldwide.

Denim and fleece are two materials that fall into the slightly unorthodox arena when it comes to footwear materials. But having said that, the look of that all too familiar gray fleece makes its way onto one of adidas Originals’ all-time favorites and best-selling models, the Stan Smith. A full fleece upper is devoid of virtually any adidas branding except for the contrasting Trefoil seen on the blue heel. Available now at Styles.

From a design perspective, the silhouette of the adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s doesn’t get any simpler. With only a handful of parts that make up the sneaker in regards to the upper, it undergoes an interesting transformation with this Lux Leather “Stingray” version. A dark faux stingray leather is the defining part of the design as it is used for the upper with D-ring lacing. As an accompaniment to the previously seen adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s Mid from earlier this month comes a “Dark Indigo” version. The profile remains the same as does the upper theme. A tonal leather upper is highlighted by suede contrasts over the heel and toe bumper. This particular pair incorporates a gum outsole and subtle Three Stripe branding via punched holes in the midfoot. Available now at select adidas Originals dealers.

adidas Originals presents the Stan Smith 80′s in a new mid top style. Suelas de Goma gives us a first look as this classic shoe is taken to new heights. This mid is made from a leather composition in maroon with brown suede paneling and a white sole to maintain it’s original heritage. To add dynamics, a black tab featuring the Adidas logo has been added to the back of the shoe and light brown laces are employed in the front. This shoe is a great take on a classic shoe in Fall colorways.

No stranger to triple-headed collaborations, Undefeated returns to the drawing board with a special project alongside premier Japanese retailer Beauty & Youth and popular contemporary brand Bedwin. Together all three develop a new capsule collection for adidas Originals revolving around the timeless Stan Smith silhouette. Dubbed the Stan Smith BBU, the kicks are given a subtly treated upper with the use use of canvas. Two colorways are previewed here, both looking to drop on May 1st at Beauty & Youth United Arrows and UNDFTD Japan. Apparel from Bedwin and socks from UNDFTD are soon to follow. Stay tuned!

New York’s 10.Deep look to link up with adidas Originals Consortium to release a Stan Smith Mid. The model features a gray nubuck upper, cooperate branding motifs, a graphic based insole and both inside foot areas are marked by a perforated 10.Deep logo. The sneaker will release on April 10th, 2010 at select retailers including VA.

An interesting theme making its way into the adidas Originals 2010 spring/summer collection has been their “TF” line. The TF line is based around iconic classics which feature a transformable upper. The initial drop has seen highlights that include the Superstar and the Stan Smith 80s seen here. In its original form, the Stan Smith features a high-top profile in which the upper can be un-zipped and removed to create a low-top version in a different color. We expect this concept to continue on with further releases but for the time being, the Stan Smith 80s TF is available now at select retailers.

Making its rounds are two new colorways in the classic Stan Smith model from the adidas Originals OT Tech Collection. Featuring a much more technically-inclined cycling inspiration, the shoes are offered in two rugged suede colorways with patent leather heel detailing and 3M accents.
