The two legends join forces for this lead single off Carlos Santana’s upcoming album Guitar Heaven which is due out on September 21st. The album is set to feature star-studded line up guest vocalists to perform on every track. Guitar Heaven is available now for pre-order on Amazon.

On the site of a thousand years of violent history, ACDC were pitted against Iron Man in a ground breaking architectural projection mapping project. The front facade of the Great Keep at Rochester Castle, was brought to life using the latest in 3D animation techniques by seeper. This onslaught of the senses, saw the castle confront it’s ultimate challenge. Warping, morphing, spewing and collapsing before the audiences eyes. Let there be rock!

Back with yet another AC/DC collaboration, Converse have designed a new black Chuck Taylor inspired by the classic-rockers. Inspired by the band’s 1978 album, Powerage, the shoe features multi-colour laces (made from smaller individual laces which are intertwined), double lining, and the yellow-meets-orange Powerage logo wrapped around the heel.

In a series of rock-based collaborations, AC/DC is the latest to adorn its own collection of footwear. The Australian band founded in the early 70s sees itself working with the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star as well as the much lesser seen Star Player 75 which features the trademark ‘A’ on the heel. Various Converse accounts worldwide should be receiving these in the very near future.

Releasing starting this month are two packs featuring some of metal’s most popular acts in AC/DC and Metallica. First up is AC/DC who see two versions featuring their likeness on a black upper All Star as well as an image of lead guitarist Angus Young on a red version that features the iconic “Lock Up Your Daughters” statement along the foxing bad. The Metallica versions are more branded with the band’s logo as well as simple all white version which features an illustration on the side (the work of Pushead?). The Metallica versions release on July 1st, 2009 while the AC/DC versions should be available in stores this month.

The latest collection of Converse music inspired releases find the timless footwear brand collaborating with iconic Australian rock band AC/DC and heavily influential Metallica. The lineup sees five Chuck Taylor hi models and one low top, all featuring original imagery from both band’s legendary careers. Each sneaker features their own unique detailing with various material and toe caps mix-ups. The collection is scheduled as a Fall 2009 release.
