The recent surfacing of Nike's pack of sneakers referencing all-time favorites left many fans wanting more beyond the preliminary one-angle image. Having said that, here's a further look into the "King of the Mountain" Air Max 90 inspired largely in part by the Air Mowabb of generations past. The use of the symbolic colorway draws immediate association with the old ACG model. Lots of details can be seen on these 90s from the two sets of laces to clear midsole. Many shops are looking to release these before the end of the month so check your local Quickstrike dealer for availability, however be certain that STANDARD will be releasing their shipment sometime next week. In my mind, no way anybody can hate on these upcoming Nike Air Maxs, featuring colorways referencing some of Nike's all-time favorites in the Air Safari and Air Mowabb. For those who have never had the chance to grab a pair of Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 B, the Safari's are a more then suitable substitute. Allegedly within this pack is also the Air Stab Runnin' Gunnin'. According to Wellgosh, a release date is set for June 27th.

Nike Air Max 90 Patent

Completing our trifecta of upcoming Air Max 90 release from Nike is this three pack of sneakers. In essence they aren't really a true pack as they are loosely affiliated only by their patent side bumper and mesh toeboxs. First up is an all white runners classic with the main highlight coming from a brightly colored sole. Next up are black/gold and red/white joints which are more closely related with the use of ostrich leather on the upper. Nike seems to have really begun to ditch the leather toeboxes which many Air Max fans were beefing about. Look for these to land in Nike accounts in the very near future.

Nike Air Max 90 Current

Up against the Air Max 90 Flywire, the Air Max 90 Current has perhaps been the early winner in fan support for the Air Max 90 Contemporary segment. Although not as technologically advanced as its lightweight counterpart, the Air Max 90 Current wins out mainly for his dedication to the original Air Max 90 on an aesthetics level, even staying true with an OG colorway rendition. The Air Max 90 Current features an ultra breathable toebox and upper due to the prominent use of mesh with the addition of a Nike Free sole for better running development. Look for these to hit select Nike dealers in coming weeks.

Nike Sportswear Air Max 90 Premium

At the recent Nike Sportswear launch in Beijing, among the upcoming showcases were a series of Air Max 90s. Display alongside re-designed styles of the classic Air Max 90 such as the Flywire AM90 and AM90 Current were a further preview of these Air Max 90 Premiums. Devoid of the technical innovation like the contemporary Air Max styles, Fly Wire and Current, these Premiums aren't without their own merits as the quality constriction is marked by the use of multiple materials on the upper. The upper is comprised of rip-stop nylon, texturized rubber and felt on the toebox. Look for these to hit select Nike lifestyle dealers in the coming weeks.

Nike Air Max 90 Current

At the time of its release, the Air Max 90 was at the pinnacle of technological developments in the realm of sports. Nevertheless, the last 18 years has yielded more than its fair share of innovation from Nike resulting in the creation of the Air Max 90 Current. The shoe features an updated platform including revamped upper and sole to create a more performance orientated product with a strong sense vintage aesthetics which many have come to love.

Nike Air Max 90 Flywire

Continually pushing the envelope of athletic performance, Flywire technology was another testament to the Bill Bowerman legacy of shaving weight off the tools athletes take to their sports each day. The narrow stripes offer support in the appropriate amounts and areas, without creating excess waste and mass. The Air Max 90 Flywire features a familiar profile in the Air Max 90 but with the added bonus of an overall lighter product without foregoing the necessary support.
