mostly referring to the less hyped-up tees. and i think prices up in sendai/tohoku region dont hold as well as tokyo/yokohama/osaka/etc... the miles tees dropped at the supreme retailer here for about 7,500 and were in one of the recycle shops a couple months later, shinpin for about 4,500.

Question regarding Japan

agreed with yom. save your loot and do it right. nothing worse than being in a land filled with temptation and not having the funds to really experience it. as for trains stopping at 12, just stay out till the first one. and forget hostels... if you're gonna do it on a budget, just do net cafes. they're probably just as cheap/safe as net cafes and theres no check in/check out. not the most comfortable, but if you want to save loot thats probably the way.

Any good Hypebeast blogs in Japanese?

best bet is just to check the actual sites/sign up for the mailing lists. depends on what brands your looking for... the local fashion group up in sendai posts pretty regular updates for bounty hunter, good enough/resonate/hp+/etc, as well as some of the higher end stuff. but its far from something like hypebeast/slamxhype/etc...just store updates. revolution-jp.com/

[Quote] yeah, its pretty nutty. all you have to do is wait a month for it to pop up in the recycle shops though. worn once and the price drops about half.

$48 retail isnt bad considering average retail on any tee is higher than that in japan. pretty much any run of the mill supreme tee retails around $60 in japan. consider yourselves lucky!
