When gkmc first came out I thought it was way ahead of section 80, but after awhile it feels like section 80's the only one that I can still bump. Anyone else think the same?

Yo, I posted about this before but anyway. Yeah, so i did this music video. It's kind of like my first real official video that me and my dudes put a lot of work into for a song off my upcoming album, so if you could, check it out and if you have any constructive feedback that would be appreciated. The track was produced by me and my friend and the video is directed by me and my brother. Anyone who's into film and shit, it was filmed on a rented Canon 1D, and edited in final cut pro with like mad effects to make it look old. I was going for a grindhouse, 1970's look like from the drive in's back then. So check it out and let me know what you think of the video and the song, I'd really appreciate it. [Embed content]

[Quote] Well said. That's kinda the way I was thinking about it. Obviously there have always been groups, but what I'm mostly saying is like because of the changing industry, you literally have to have a team around you with other content that fans can look at. Like if a video went viral from one artist, and they're repping a group, the other content the group is putting out is usually pretty dope too.

[Quote] Yeah I agree with that, but still Esperanza Spalding won best new artist for a dumb reason too. it was just because she was part of like the Grammy ensemble or some shit like that and they were trying to promote it
