Prices are FIRM. Will knock off $10 for local meetups, just pm me. Forgot to take tagged pics this time around, but if you want some new ones before buying, I'd be happy to oblige. Jordan Cement 3. Worn a couple times. Still damn clean (more pics can be seen here: http://bit.ly/mXNoiF), creasing is only because of my small feet, shouldn't be too bad for those with normal feet. [Image]

Started by Jordan Cement 3 only $150 shipped. Crepe AM1 80 shipped., 2 Weeks ago in Sneakers

Penny auction sites are a much like casinos. If and when you win, it's legit. Otherwise, you're pissing away your money betting against bots.
This is where he gets it wrong. Sure, multiplication comes first in the acronym, but it doesn't properly relay the fact that multiplication and division or addition and subtraction are grouped and have the same priority. PEMDAS, PEMDSA, PEDMAS, PEDMSA are all acronyms that would work to the the same effect. When all components of the equation share the same priority, you work your way left to right. 48 / 2 (12) -or- 48 / 2 * 12 = 24 (12) -or- 24 * 12 = 288

It's 288. 48/2(9+3) =48/2(12) =24*12 =288 Adobo, your method only applies if the equation were written as 48/(2(9+3)), in which the extra set of parenthesis give priority to the 2*(12). Otherwise, you can't arbitrarily multiply those two first, considering order of ops dictates that calculations are always made left to right.

Yeah, I didn't mean that you shouldn't order overseas at all, because I do realize for some things it's cheaper and there's more overall selection. Heck, I've made 7 transactions on Rakuten and more than a dozen from Take 5. I think both offer great services and I'd refer them to anyone. I just think that depending on what you order, it's always good to support your own US retailers if they offer the same product. If I'm gonna spend $300+ on a pair, I think extra $25 you'll spend domestically is worth the perks of better customer service, hemming, and the chance to return them. Things like special edition items, brands that are dramatically cheaper overseas (Ie. Sugar Cane), I'll continue to buy overseas.

I don't see how you can makes them exactly comparable. Priority mail is the cheapest offering from BiG and the same can be said for shipping you'll get from Rakuten. Express shipping is a luxury, so it doesn't make sense to throw it in when comparing the lowest base price.

Replied in The Official Samurai Denim and Apparel Thread, 2 Weeks ago in Denim

Yeah, you can. And you can get arcs and tabs on the hush (considering they're not supposed to be carrying them in the first place) if you're lucky enough to have a pair in your size.
Why do you have to widen the gap with express shipping? It'd be $336 shipped priority from BiG which is plenty fast. You'd also have access to free chainstitch hemming, which most shops can't/don't offer (including Move) and the security of being able to return/exchange them.

Anywhere from Japan should come out to be cheaper, but it's no more than $15 saved (if even that with exchange rates moving in the wrong direction) . I don't think it's really worth it the trouble anymore, unless you're getting a limited edition pair.
