I haven't seen any level of "effective" creativity on the SB scene for many, many months. This is just horrible.

[Quote] Speak for yourself, man. Retail (like any other sector) is highly subjective. So many different variables account for whether you have a favorable or negative experience in the work place. Sometimes it "just" isn't about money. I don't think you need alot of credentials or experience to get hired at all. You can't be overqualified either. My advice.... 1) You have to have flexible hours 2) Dazzle in the interview. AND before you even get interview.. make sure you try in any possible way to SHOW that you really want the position. Drop off your resume to the manager in person.. give a lil blurb why you want to work with their team. You know little details like that make all the difference. Be persistent and really... you can't fail. GOOD LUCK. I hope you get the job!

What's the stock situation on the shirts? I won't be home until Christmas and I hope they'll still be there until then.

Does cash mean strictly paper bills or is debit alright as well? Any SBs in tiny 6.5-7 sizes? Thanks

Shoe Goos...

It depends on what your definition of "nice shoes" equates to. If you want sneakers that are rarer, more sought after, limited designs that are quite simply harder to come by and more expensive... check out the store threads in the forum. (Adrift, Livestock, Stolen Riches and Goodfoot are just some examples) But if you're looking for some really good deals on some rarer kicks.. you gotta do your shopping online. To be honest, as Canadians we pay through the roof on shoes and they are one of the highest taxed items to be imported into this country. Because of the amount of taxes and control of retail prices... shoes here are so expensive.. it's difficult to consider our market as competitive as the one down south.

Halo! I slept on the Tokyo Mids and now I'm starting to regret. Is there a size 7 left at all? Thank you!

^ I haven't even heard of the premiums north of the border. I'm almost entirely sure they are the classic retro ones.

Livestock! What's your size run on the infrareds? Please tell me you have a 7 or 7.5 included!

[Quote] Wow that's just horrible... but it's not anything different from what they usually do. Kudos to the campers who actually continue to do what you do with service like this..

[Quote] $300 cash does not necessarily mean that there is NO tax. It could mean that only cash was accepted. Either way, I don't see it as anything worth promoting. Goodfoot isn't some stall in Chinatown where shady business like this is passively excused. Regardless of payment type: visa, debit, or cash, they shouldn't be charging any more or any less.

[Quote] Why was the size 7 higher by 40 dollars?? That's just strange business. I'm glad I didn't get tempted then.. 300 is a bit steep.

[Quote] Where did you hear this? I want a pair of de la high's... but no point since I wear a size 7. I hope campers find their time to be worth it. :/

I'm guessing De la lows will be atleast 240 or greater (Vancouver's price last summer). DotD and de la highs are prob JUST south of 300 then.
