Coach is dope, but the obsession with throwing "fuck" on everything continues. Really wish they would move past that already.

Lucky for me, the stuff I want these days tends to be the stuff that sits anyway.  Pocket tees ftw,

My bad, when I said "more stores", I meant their own stores like London and Paris.  But yeah, overall I was talking going all the way back.  I haven't paid close enough attention over the past few years to notice if they're really making that many more of the same item between like 2010 and now for example (I could only guess either way since I have no way of knowing for sure).  I don't think they would ever produce to meet demand though.  The goal is obviously make less than what they can sell and the evidence that it's working is in the secondary market. I think they always have a few specialty pieces that are ultra limited though, like the patchwork this year for example or that pink denim jacket last spring.

[Quote] I'm not saying the production has gone through the roof or anything, but they are serving more stores and an international market that didn't exist in 94.  Everytime you add a store, you increase production.  Online shop meant they had to increase production, plus there are different shops for different regions.  There's no way they're just taking the same amount of product and spreading it out across all those different means of distribution.  That said, I still think they shoot to underproduce relative to demand becasue that is and always has been their strategy.

A lot of companies destroy their excess stock.  That is not unique to Supreme. Most companies have a built in budget for destroying or repurposing obsolete or excess product.  Truth is, none of us work there so none of us can say whether or not they've upped to production, but it's naive to think they haven't upped it at least somewhat over the years.

[Quote] I'm sure they've been gradually upping production.  It's natural when you're opening more stores and growing as a brand.  Supreme is still a relatively young and gowing brand in the big scheme of things.  They trick is not to keep production capped at the same place forever and leave a growing amount of money on the table, but to always have it a certain percentage lower than demand to keep the product more exclusive.

[Quote] Pretty sure APC uses the PS cut for non-raw stuff as well. Been a while since I looked, but I know they used to use it for other stuff.

[Quote] Well he put 6'11, so why would I think he meant 5'11? I'm sure I'll be good though, I always take a medium. Sometimes they ARE cut significantly longer though for whatever reason. Supreme has always been inconsistent with shirt length. I have an LS from 07 that hits just below my waist and I'm on the short side (5'7") and others that are cut very long.

Damn if the medium microstripe fits a 6'11 dude that long, i might be fucked.  Then again, I have a pretty average build, so maybe I'll be alright.

[Quote] The thing is, limited or not, does anyone actually want them?  Hard to imagine people paying that much, but I guess stranger things have happened.
