Confused?! Hey I read through this thread and I am a little confused. I have a pair of raw PumaxEvisu's. They fit great. Now my confusion is do I soak them before I start wearing them or do I soak them after I have put some wear into them? I am 5 months into wearing these and I havn't soaked them. Have I just wasted 5 months? When I soak them does it matter if they are inside out? Thanks

[Quote] I would never get a suit offline. I agree with you on that. You have to definately try it on first to see what your working with before you take it to a tailor.

Hey I am new to denim, I honestly dont know the difference between raw salvedge or normal. But DrJays has a great sale on Evisu Jeans that I have always been in interested into buying a pair and now seems like the best time. I am thinking about buying these: [URL] Now my questions are, what type of care would be necessary to keep them looking nice? I hear things about special ways to wash denim and sitting in water with them? Is it necessary for these pairs? Also is Evisu good quality and such? Thanks

I dont have a suit that I would post on the internet. It still needs to go the tailor. But I am stashing away some money to get a suit done by a designer by the name of Duncan Quinn. He is superb but expensive. But once i get it I will be wearing it all the time. From the office to the bar. His site is [URL] A most see for an suit afficinado (sp? )

LV was strictly a luggage company back in the day. "In addition, Vuitton began by selling flat-topped trunks that were lightweight and airtight. All trunks before this had rounded tops for water to run off and thus could not be stacked, it was Vuitton's gray Trianon canvas flat trunk that allowed the ability to stack for ease with voyages." (Wikipedia)

It seems like a legitimate idea. LV wants to return to its roots as a high end luggage company as opposed to the likes Takashi Murikami (sp?) modern super flat contributions. Gorbachev is a prime example of the roots. He's an important figure in history, he obviously travels alot and not to sound sterotypical, when one thinks of Russia one thinks of grand old fashion, architecture and people. So Gorbachev is perfect for LV's new direction.
