I watched a lot of the Mortal Kombat tourney and all of the MVC3 and SF4 events. The fights were insane man. You could really see the mental adjustments and stuff. It was crazy.

^^^ Yeah dude. Kenshi is awesome. I like how he puts his fingers up to his mind when he performs the telekenitic moves.

[Quote] That's fukn dope. I should get one. I been mad loyal all my life. I been with the same broad forever. I have a hard time picking tats because there are so many things that I want to symbolize. I have been collecting ideas to expand on for years now. That's why I love this thread. I need to see if there is a book that has a collection of tats as well as their meaning to the individuals. That would be a dope ass book. Here was a vid I just watched a few days ago about Tek's tats and what they mean to him. [URL]

[Quote] This is gonna look sick once the shading is done. Are you gonna color it or keep it black and white when you shade it?

Akuma Stick [URL] I didn't use Sanwa parts though. That's gonna be the next stick. I bought this game off the strength of the art. I'm pissed though because the best illustrations of Akuma are fan art. I almost blue 100 bux on Capcom art books at Atomic Comics just to thumb through them to see they didn't have a lot of Akuma stuff.

[Quote] Sometimes sacrifices must be made for the awesomeness. I'm totally gonna bite that idea. Fish the wires through the wall. People do it with speaker wire all the time. Why not visual cables? I say green light go.

[Quote] I gottem both. I like the way MK9 looks and feels as a fighting game because I am not good at fighting games. MK feels like it has a formula and once you understand it, it becomes a game of Paper Rock Scissors but with Ninjas with insane combos. MVC 3 is really fun though when it comes to outrageous animation sequences but since there are soooooo many characters that have tremendous variations, it's like playing high speed chess. I personally play more MK because fighting with bad assed ninjas is the shit. Even the broads in the game are ill. [URL]

[Quote] The block button changes the whole aspect and strategy of the game. I think its a fresh opposite to Street Fighter. In SF you just pull away and auto block where in MK you have to consciously block. Its a lot more fun to me. [URL]

[Quote] I would say that if you are looking for an extremely technical fighting game, SF is the way to go. They have produced so many SF games, they have the strategy down. But I love MK because it isn't so technical. You learn a few basic combos and you have a fighting chance in the game because if you can successfully block an attack, you have a lot of time to counter.
