Found 2 new pairs of 514's in my closet that I got for Christmas last year. Totally forgot I had them. They're 36x30, but I've lost a good amount of weight and I'm down to a 32" waist line now. Would if worth it to try and shrink these down to fit me, alter, or would I be better just selling them off or exchanging them for my size?

What are good & reasonably priced saddles at around 40-60$? The stock one on the Kilo is no good at all!

Received my G2 earlier today. Went outside to get some test shots with the Minolta 50F1.7. Still getting used to the EVF and manual focus. [Image]

Well I didn't end up getting the camera because he sold it earlier this morning. However, I did end up just getting a Panasonic Lumix G2 and I'll be using my Minolta MD 50F1.7 and 135F3.5 on it. This is pretty much going to be my everyday camera for street photography. I got a pretty good deal on it being that it's brand new. It should suite my shooting needs for awhile until I save up enough for a D300s or D7000. Anyone have experience with adapting other lenses to different camera bodies?

I really want to get back into shooting, so I've been in the market for looking for reasonable priced cameras I could use for now. I found a really good deal on a Nikon D80 with a Nikon 50F1.8D and 85F1.8D for a reasonable price. He is the first owner and camera is in mint condition. All he had to do was have the camera recalibrated and installed a new shutter assembly all done by Nikon. Main reason why I'm looking into buying this package is because of the lenses. I'll be upgrading to the D300s around November or December and my plan is to keep the 50F1.8D and 85F1.8D and sell the D80 to fund a new lens. Would this be a good buy?

I've been a dedicated Sony shooter for awhile now. I came across a deal for a Nikon D90 and in a way it benefits me since my cousins and friends are Nikon shooters too. Right now, I have a Sony A560 with a couple of lenses, but Im thinking of selling it and switching over to Nikon. Would that be a downgrade? Originally, I was saving up for a D7000, but the D90 offer is something I wouldn't want to pass up. What do you guys think? Stay with the Sony and save up for the D7000 or switch to the D90?

[Quote] Picture quality is pretty good. And it's cool how you can use old MF lenses with adapters. Thing you might have a hard time with it are adjusting the settings. You would always need to go into the menu settings to change like Iso, shutter speed, aperture, etc etc. What about Panasonic GF3 or Olympus E-PL3?
